Hey I have a question mount Dennis bought a new flyers xed40 and 60s too fo to retire Orion Og hybrids, are they gonna keep Orion NG hybirds or they will go to different divisions.
I believe the plan is to retire all the OG Hybrids and possibly a few NG Hybirds and then send all the rest of the MTD NG Hybrids to malvern most likely
@@calebmanuel17 back in 2017 to around early 2020 the TTC really wanted all their buses to be consistent, so they made a huge effort on repainting all buses, I’m not sure why they repainted the OG hybrids so fast but they may not have anticipated they would retire now they might’ve thought they could last longer. But once Covid hit I think the TTC realized there was no point repainting older buses that would retire in 2 or 3 years anyway, that’s why all the OG Diesels and some NG Hybrids are still in the old paint
The 134 XDE40's are basically same-division retirements at Mount Dennis to all 130 remaining OG Hev's. The 68 XDE60's will retire about 60-80 of the ~200 NG Hev's, some same-division at Mount Dennis, but probably also by pushing out It's Nova Artic's to Malvern/Arrow for those divisions NG Hev's to retire. The remaining NG Hev's at Mount Dennis and Arrow will move to Malvern to consolidate the fleet as numbers diminish. Other small movements will happen to equalize the numbers, but we can't be sure exactly what now. The 134 2023 Nova Hev's are being Delivered to Wilson, and as they are delivered, most if not all 119 NG Diesels(ISL) will be pushed out to Queensway, where they'll retire the remaining ~135 OG Diesels. This is slight speculation but its likely.
@@FinchtheTTCfan do ttc turn OG Hybrid bus to shelter bus, like How they turn OG Airport bus into shelter or they gonna use it as parts for upcoming bus.
