based on an article from her old school in minnesota (shattuck-st. mary’s), she can also speak spanish and french (as a school subject, maybe?) but just like any other secondary language, you lose your fluency over time if you don’t practice it often. i wish she has a lot of korean american friends she can regularly talk in english to so she doesn’t lose that, she sounds soothing with her accent
Some of that must be INCREDIBLY frustrating! I swear, that one guy was messing with her, trying to FORCE her into Konglish instead of allowing her to actually speak English. I wanted to wring his neck from here since he thought it was so damned funny! I love Wendy so much. It's her levels of perseverance as much as her intelligence. Just WOW.
she’s pure korean. she just went to canada and the US to study from 6th grade all throughout highschool before she went back to SK to pursue her singing career. if she didn’t, i believe she would’ve immigrated to canada already as as far as i know her family is already living there. she’s currently living alone in SK
