Line is composed by next elements:
• #1 Chain conveyor for the displacement of the stems and the coils.

• #1 O-rings introduction system in the Strapping Machine.

• #1 Chain conveyor for the displacement of the coils to the end of the line.
• #1 Coil rotation and lifting system at the wrapping position.

The operator has to place the wire coil on the entry roller conveyor. Then the stem (where coil is supported) along with the coil is displaced to the compacting and strapping position. Then coil is compacted by the compactor to the pressure required by the customer and at the same time is taken out from its stem.
Once the coil is out from its stem, the stem is displaced to exit conveyor while coil is placed again at the strapping position so the strapping machine can introduce cardboard protector and perform radial strapping introducing a “O”-ring at the top per strap performed for coil handling. To perform the radial straps at the different positions coil is rotated by the rotation system incorporated to the compactor.
When the strapping has been performed, wire coil is displaced to the position of the tilting device, where the coil is tilted 90º and placed horizontally. Then conveyor displaces the coil to the wrapping machine position, where coil is wrapped through the inner diameter.
Finally the coil arrives to the end of the line completely packed and ready to be picked by the operator using the forklift or the crane.
This strapping machine can be adapted to the space and features of the customer’s line without problems.
