Nearly 1/2 mile of gravel driveway winding through the woods and hills! Join us today as we do a complete gravel driveway makeover in less than 4 hours at Pro Staffer Phil's Southern Illinois hunting land & residence. Today I'll haul my KIOTI NS6010 hst cab tractor and my ABI attachments TR3 tractor rake over to Pro Staffer Phil's Southern Illinois property. Phil will be using his KIOTI NX5510 hst cab tractor as well to help with moving fresh stone (aka gravel) to the bad parts of the gravel driveway that need extra attention and a thicker layer of gravel. Today we will bring in 2 dump truck loads of CA6 stone and have it drop spread (aka tailgated) by the dump truck operator, and we will also bring in a couple of DIY dump trailer loads of driveway stone as well. This was a great driveway makeover project and it was a huge success on a pretty limited budget. By doing all of the machine work and driveway grading we were able to save Phil a lot of money as he just had to pay for the raw cost of the driveway gravel, and a nominal hauling fee for the 2 dump truck loads of stone. Also the driver was very skilled at tailgating and he saved us loads of tractor and grading work as he laid a very beautiful and even layer of gravel down on the majority of this near half mile long country gravel driveway!
