I planted my Tromboncino squash on an arch this year that I placed where the soil only gets sun in the middle of the summer. This way, when the soil is in shade again, 😊the Squash won't care because its "solar panels" will be getting plenty of sun.

What about strawberries? Is there anyway to protect them from hitting the ground when they aren’t going to be able to go up on a trellis? I have planted shallots and onions around the strawberries and still they are getting a little bit nibbled on by pests.
