Awesome video young fella. When my youngest son @ 6 wanted a model train layout ,I told him he had to help me framework, floor & insulate a 12ft x 10ft max 6ft high room in my roof space to accomadate the rail track. We completed it in 2 weeks then painted all white with lighting & plugs. He enjoyed building the room as much as the large rail system we built. He is now married many years @ 38 yrs but still talks about our time setting it all up. 75+🍁 hunter Yorkshire expat

I agree. As a modeler myself, I appreciate how well the Hornby track expansions are planned. Each step is playable in its own way and adds a lot of interest to what came before.

Yes, and as I discovered it can also allow you to start experimenting with simple layout ideas… which can lead to complex layout ideas!

I am looking forward to it too! This time I am in no rush as I know that even if I tried to make really quick progress, there is a chance that the project will be on such a scale that it will never truly be “finished”!

Ahh I didn’t even think of that! I have been playing around with possible loft layouts this afternoon. I think I need a few more sidings for general interest but I’ve got a broad layout in mind now!
