I'm new here and love your channel. You just saved me a ton of money, now don't need to buy a class for this technique. I've been on the search for this cover idea I saw on someone's channel. They charge unbelievable amounts of money to learn. Thank goodness there are artist that share like you do. Talents can be shared, and I appreciate you doing so. 💕
I do my covers like yours with one exception. After painting the cloth, I put it on the boards, then I use the template with my stuff. I am very careful when adding the embossing stuff. Tape/paper/washi comes in handy to mark off or hold the template. Add the paint with embossing stuff or just paint over. After the embossing stuff dries, I use the template as a guide to see where I need to go. I use a stylist with a little ball at the end, they come in 6 graduals sizes, 2 on each stylists, 6 sizes to keep things nice & smooth. I can build up after each dry. Thanks for the tutorial.
Cannot thank you enough for sharing these techniques! I hate I’m a week to late at discovering you ...I’ve been had financially by another RU-vider for these same techniques like they own them.
It is the mark of a true professional to be able take a process and present it in steps that a novice can follow. I do not exaggerate when I say this is a brilliant tutorial and one I will refer to again and again. I echo the appreciate of other comments in my gratitude that you freely share your knowledge rather than seeking to profit. Thank you, Zoe.
I was so excited to find this tutorial. I have been looking and looking for someone to show how this is done. Thank you so much for sharing your technique.
Hi Zoe, I just discovered you and I had to take a moment to tell you... you are absolutely brilliant! I've made handmade books before but some of your detailing techniques (ie., stenciling with texture paste for front cover...) have simply blown my mind! I cannot thank you enough for sharing your ideas and skills with the rest of us mere mortals! :D Hugs for now from cloudy rainy Virginia, USA
I've commented on this video before, but I think it's one of my favorites and I've watched it several times. Thank you so much for sharing this technique (and all of the other helpful teaching videos you've shared)!
