Big yes to buying a small coffee pot online to save on coffee! I purchased one on Amazon for around $20, fits nicely in my small checkin(we fly SW, two free each) and I still have plenty of room for toiletries, hair equipment, accessories, shoes (bagged). I want coffee before peopling while I’m getting ready to leave the room and it’s SOOOO worth it. We also have large reusable cups that we bought for $5 each in an essentials shop and a large thermos “water bottle” that holds two oversized mixed drinks with ice. We go to Lee’s for the liquor and mixers, mix drinks in our cups and two more in the thermos. We take advantage of free drinks when gambling but if the service is lacking and while we’re walking the strip, we don’t have to pay strip prices. Taking three drinks to go each and combining free drinks while gambling lasts us more than long enough historically. All game changers for us.
I went to Vegas in 2015 watching out for timeshare scammers you are so right!! Went to a presentation to get some tickets for a show we told the man the entire time we didn’t want to buy timeshare finally at end he was yelling and belligerent to my husband and me. He was so angry and we told him entire time we weren’t interested in buying the timeshare. I really like your channel thx for all the tips!!
When I saw them on the Strip, I was starstruck, and have a valid reason why to be. Their RU-vid channel is a major hit! I’m so happy for them as it was an honor speaking to them even if it was only for a minute!
I have no desire to go to Vegas. I have traveled there many times. Some years three times a year. I just love watching you two and seeing how Vegas has changed so much. I was there when Michael Jackson performed in the opening of the Mirage. I find myself laughing by myself watching you two. Your sense of humor is off the charts!!! You compliment each other very well. Personally I would stay at Fremont street.
@@tomnisen3358 Too much radiation for me. On top of that the military base and who knows what they are detonating on the grounds. I knew of a military guy who worked on that base and he said stay as far away from it as possible.
You have no desire to go to Vegas? The entertainment capital of the world? I've gone many times and I've STILL missed out on tons of places to go and things to see. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't wanna go to Vegas!
@@SportsBoss999 I used to go 3-4 times per year. I have stayed at many of the Casino's. My brother lives there. We all used to love Vegas. Not anymore. He even hates it now and is looking to move elsewhere. Personally I would go to Fremont street before any of the strip casino's. They are ruining Vegas with F1. Imo.
I never went anywhere out of texas, but Tania and Dave ESPECIALLY THIS INTRODUCTION VIDEO the best of all of their work, has made me LITERALLY DREAM LAS VEGAS, practically 24 hours....since in middle of night I still turn on my Bluetooth headset so I can listen to this clips audio...while I am falling asleep....so this video is LIFE CHANGING....BEST OF ALL LAST VEGAS GUIDE OR GURU PODCASTS....omg...its so amazing how they put together this much info SCOOPED ALL ABOUT LAS VEGAS, IN ONE PACK....all the best and wishing u a triple jackpot soon...both of u Tania and dave
Tanya and Dave cover Las Vegas so well and they are honest with their reviews. I am coming to Vegas at the end of Jan 2024 and have been studying up on their content. This was a must watch for anyone going to Vegas baby!! Thanks Tanya and Dave xx love Jen in Scotland UK!
We love you tania and dave. You both are my main reasons why i wanna come to vegas and im absolutely dying to get a selfie with you both. That will be a huge memorable moment for my vegas trip 😊

Big s/o to the consistency of this channel. I love the length of this video too. Listening at 2X speed over the next few weeks should give me all the resouces I need to enjoy my upcoming trip.
14:10 on traveling off-peak months. Not only watch out for the F1 race, but try to avoid weekends where the Raiders play at home. keep an eye on when UFC/boxing is in town too.
Thanks Tania and Dave! Awesome video. When we go to Vegas we love Earl of Sandwich at Miracle Mile Shops and Secret Pizza at Cosmo and of course IN/OUT Burger at The Linq. Those are our top 3 places to eat! Hey that could be a video you could ask people who have visited Vegas. What are your top 3 places to eat. just a thought, ok, thanks for all you do guys!
Hello. Its only a few days since i found you both. Iam so impressed. I enjoy watching and listening to you both. I will be in Vegas sometime in 2024. It would be super to say hello. Cheers!

I like you guys a lot , love the energy and content, and Tania can Sing for real ,keep up the great content hope to meet you both soon best regards The Haitian !!
I recently found this channel a couple days ago and LOVE IT. I subscribe to a couple other travel channels and yours is by far one of the best! I have been to Vegas a few times, but always stayed downtown, and now eager to get back and check out more on the strip!!
Agreed; also be careful about the Ferris Wheel. You embark on one side of the street and they let you off on a different part of the street. Anyway, as a single female being there by myself it was Very disorentating, my cell phone was no help with walking directions. I think all the tall buildings and everything get in the way of signals. I somehow was able to find my way back to my hotel safely, but not before walking about two miles in the wrong direction and being helped out by two genuine good samaritain people who were off-duty but worked in casinos there, realized I was dazed and confused, and really helped me out So Much they refused to accept one dollar or any payment at all for their assistance. Yes, there are shady people in LV as in any other place, but I didn't experience that at all with my trip. I don't gamble, but I sure hit the Jackpot and Lady Luck was on my side !!
I always stay at Circus Circus. It's cheap. and I get a nice clean comfortable room and I like the atmosphere. I save money on water By filling my bottle up in my room before I leave but if it's hot out I know you'll want real cold water. If you are there at least 3 days and you take the bus then get a 3 day pass and you save money. The bus is the cheapest besides your feet. But walking is really good for you. At Mandalay Bay at Slice of Vegas for $4 a slice. Well, it was $4 in 2021. It was a big slice and hot as they head it up when you order it.
Could you believe I have never seen the volcano show and I lived there for 17 years lol. I worked for Bellagio and worked around the fountains and Prime❤. Tfs
This is my second walk-through. I have three...okay maybe four questions. Two content related and two personal. Ready? We're thinking of visiting around the fourth week in March for my husband's birthday and were eyeing the Linq (1) What do you think about the Linq (2) How warm is it during this time. You've already informed us to bring a jacket, sweatshirt etc. Noted! Now, for the personal (3) How long have you two been married and; lastly, in the video, you guys were celebrating your birthday at some restaurant (4) Which restaurant was that and do you both share the same birthday? Tis' all.
For anyone considering Sky Combat Ace please be advised if you are tall there is no head support. I got whiplash during my flight a year ago and still dealing with the injury.
I know you've recommended staying at center strip, but I've often stayed at the south end, and there are plenty of casinos within a reasonable walking distance - the New York-New York, MGM Grand, Excalibur, Mandalay Bay and many others. There are trams, buses, cabs and other ways to get from one place to another, but even without using those, there are many places to go and visit. The NY-NY is very lively, especially during the weekends. Mandalay Bay has incredible pools. And if you're budget conscious, the Excalibur is a good place to stay as well.
Polo towers is another great place to stay if you want rooms with a kitchen even the studio suites have a kitchen on a slightly smaller scale. Also it is on the strip and right across the street from the area
I’ve just returned from a 5 day trip to Las Vegas… I absolutely loved my time there and can not wait to return. The downsides though were that service was a let down most of the time! Especially the brewdog where the staff seemed off. Smoking inside the casinos was off putting and the cost of water in the hotel room $24 😮. And the F1 building work restricting views of the Bellagio fountains.
Boulder City Hospital hosts an “Art In The Park” fundraiser in the fall (10/7-10/8 if you see this in comment in 2023). Music, food, all sorts of interesting vendors. It’s a neat little town to visit!
1:06:38 i parked at resirts world, the guy at the gate told me to just get a member card and when i exited, i just put my new card in and it was free 😊
Hi. Near the beginning of this video I saw you guys in a very green yard. That did not look like Las Vegas. Where was that? I live in Las Vegas and I don’t ever see that much grass & trees anywhere. Thanks.
Great question! We would recommend checking out Resorts World and taking advantage of the Tesla tunnel to get to/from the convention center while staying there.
Thanks for watching, and great question! There is a place to insert your player's card right into the slot machine. It will be lit up, just make sure the light turns green (not red) after you insert your card. Definitely insert your players card if you decide to play slots!
Veterans...show your veteran ID and get a casino rewards card . This will give you FREE parking at MGM and Caesars. I rent a car because it is nice to get off the strip for dinning. I personally think the strip is very expensive for the quality of food and not always worth it.
Another note on high volatility slots like progressives. Say you hit something, now you have to pay Uncle Sam his cut. I prefer low volatility machines for that reason
I lived there for 22 years and left 5 years ago. I am watching this for tips and it feels so weird. Going back for a visit at the end of the month and I can't think of shit to do other than visiting people.
Im a disabled adult form canada , who wants to come to las vegas , how would i get around there I dont drive a car so what do I do , and how can I get around . Thanks . Do hotels have scooters for disabled adults to use in and around las vegas
In lit up areas like freemount street, yeah. It's best to be with a group, have a sober person with you guys, call Ubers to get through sketchy dark areas. Always tell someone where you're going if you have to go alone.
