omg hannah you have to vacuum AFTER you wipe all the counters/furniture down! that way, all the crumbs/dust/cat litter, etc., gets wiped onto the floor & then you vacuum it up

I always do my 'weekly cleaning' on Saturday. Laundry, cleaning my room, my weekly shopping etc. and Sunday is always my self care day to get me ready for Mondays and the week ahead. I always end my weekly cleaning with a shower and movie night! Sundays is my self care day, when I wash my bed sheets and end the day with a nice warm soak in the tub with candles! I put on my lotion and crawl into my fluffy sheets and pillows and have THE BEST sleep with new sheets, to get ready for the week ahead and have a nice sleep! I loved this video so much! I've been using the 6/10 list for about two months and it's made a huge difference for me. I agree with you about the kitchen. Once it's cleaned for the night, the kitchen is closed. LOL Pro Tip for your oatmeal bowl- spray it with non-stick cooking spray before you add the oatmeal. It will wash off a lot easier. I learned this after eating oatmeal for years.

6:24 Bestie I literally purchased laundry products, trash bags, and Raid today at my local grocery store because I'm moving into my dorm at my new college on the 25th! Since I need new cleaning products, all of this is so interesting to me, so yes, I do care about what dryer sheets and the different detergents you use!

Making lists saves the day! This was such an inspirational watch because I hate cleaning and need constant encouragement. Not sure what your time lag with posting is, but I hope you're feeling better by now--or soon will be! Don't worry about the air conditioner. I'm sitting here watching with my old unit making the exact same noise LOL. Lastly...bed making trick for when your bed's against the wall and/or just hemmed in by nightstands or even heavier furniture. Do the most inaccessible corner FIRST, then all the others. Sooo much easier. As always, real one here. Meow!

ik this is an old video but my grandma raised me to NEVER leave a dish in the sink always wash it i absolutely hated it growing up but now that im older i absolutely live by it and i 10/10 recommend ik it takes a couple extra minutes but its so worth it

This is good practice for when you are married with kid(s) and live in a house. Yes, floors are always last. It’s a small apt so things get cluttered easily, but that also makes it easier to clean. I feel like the space would be even calmer if certain things that aren’t aesthetic (like the Dyson) were stored out of sight. There might be ways to simplify some things. Like if your bed sheets/pillows were pared down to less items. For example there may be no need for a top sheet since the duvet covers the feather bed. There may be no need for other blankets because the duvet/feather bed is heavy/warm enough. You could make it easier on yourself if the bed wasn’t against the wall and you could walk around it to make it. Perhaps switch out the bedside table for a highly functional headboard? Life may be easier if u didn’t have 4 bed pillows - after all it’s just you right now. You could buy a body pillow - great for back pain or restless legs at night. The bedroom curtain takes up precious space in the room and looks messy. Maybe a roll shade that lays flat? The Tide MAY be causing the acne, even tho the label says free and clear. Another common cause is gluten and junk food, which messes with the gut, which affects hormones causing acne. Maybe a kitty rug without words would look more minimalist, esp. in a small apt. The white bowl with the small items in it might look cuter if it were a little larger and made out of wicker. You MAY be able to store some large, lightweight things (that look aesthetically pleasing or that are contained in wicker baskets) above the wardrobe closet - although that may restrict airflow between rooms… The area rugs might look more cohesive if they matched in color family to each other and didn’t have patterns. I just bought an awesome oval jute rug on Amazon. Earth tones are more calming. If there’s room, maybe a plastic bin to hold/soak dishes so the sink remains clear/useable until ur in the mood to do dishes. Formula 409 is pretty caustic to the LUNGS and could make you susceptible to colds, etc. Pro Tip: In case there is ever scale in the toilet bowl, pumice stones tackle it well. They are a softer material than the porcelain, so they will never scratch it.

Yes, yes, and yes. I’ve done that before-stripped the bed to find out I did not, in fact, clean my alternate set of sheets. Hannah, where did you get your white comforter or bed spread? I love it and it looks light weight! Also, that Tide Free and Clean is what my Mom uses due to having dye and scent allergies. Same with the bounce sheets!

I used to hate washing dishes too. I mean I still do, but not as much because I bought reusable dishwashing gloves on Amazon. I realized the reason I hated it so much was bc I had to touch all the food and gunk on the dishes with my bare hands, so the gloves helped avoid that, and BONUS my nail polish lasts longer now 😁 try it, maybe it'll help.

I HATE cleaning the dishes too, thank god I have a dishwasher 😭 but for times when I don’t use enough dishes for a load, I immediately put my dishes in the sink and spray Dawn Powerwash and then rinse them a few minutes later. Almost everything just slides off and you don’t have to do all of the gross scrubbing later!!
