North and South is a great 2 player game, many fond memories of playing it with friends. Not so much fun 1 player though. The action scenes like the train robbery and the fort raid are where the fun is.
Exactly this. I also used to play with my neighbors and every kid was excited at the train and fort scenario. The battle is a bit clunky but I love it. Cheers gents!
I've never had North and South in my collection either because it's tough to find a nice CIB one. There's more to it besides the fighting but it's basically a strategy game.
@NES ADDICT: My neighbor just gave me an old NES with about 10 or more loose games, an NES max controller and 2 original controllers! It was just sitting in his shed. Nothing rare or expensive, but it's a start!
Think this is the first episode where all the games you picked up I don't have in my own collection. I've been slacking on NES collecting while I focus on other consoles.
@@NESADDICT LOL! Sometimes I wasn't even able to reach to 2nd! Once I reached a...a fifth if I remeber correctly, but I was drunk! (seriously, alcohol makes miracles)
@@NESADDICT yeah, but important to complete that Ikari subset right. I been thinking of focusing my NES collecting to subsets, like I'm so close to completing the full Capcom, LJN, Konami and Black Box titles that I might just focus on that for the year. Of course anything over $50 has to be paid 50% buy trading, selling or flipping if not 100% of it. Might make it into a series.
No! I’ll totally try it again!! Maybe it’s because I play these games just long enough to talk about them in the video. It’s usually not until later when I realize I am sometimes wrong about games 🤣
I feel you dude. I am constantly thinking I have NES games that I don’t. 😂 Bomberman is a classic. Picked that one up myself a couple months back. Great grabs man. 🤙🏻 AwesomeNES collection at 332 Sweet! How many unlicensed games do you have for the system?
I honestly am not sure. Probably a couple. I need to see because I do have some of the black cart Tengen games as well as some of the Bible games. I don’t know if those count. 🤣
@@NESADDICT I have around 350 NES games currently but probably around 30-35 of those are the unlicensed games. Really cool to have found your channel. I like watching how your adding the licensed games to your collection. I also have no idea how you find all the awesome licensed Nintendo items. I never see any of these type of things out at flea markets and antique malls. Good stuff dude.
@@DrinkGameswithJosh thanks Josh! It’s probably gonna be a long journey and who knows if I’ll ever completely do it with the top tier games like Samson but I’m sure gonna try
All these NES collectors I watch are killing me. You and retro reminiscence making me want to start an NES collection. No no no I have to tell myself no
Cartridges are trash you can get the complete collection by hacking the NES classic mini console it doesn’t cost a penny let’s go blow in the cartridges now to play a game who still plays on the NES when the Nintendo Switch is out ?
I have an NES Classic modded with all the games on it. That’s what I use to capture footage for the videos. Collecting the games is just a fun adventure for me and in a world of digital media physical media is going to be important to preserve for the future. To me it’s a modern library of books. Hope that helps explain why I collect physical. I understand why people don’t it’s definitely less space and more cost effective.
