The supply cable to the machine is the one in the wall, and the one you fit from the wall to the machine, they are both the supply cables to the machine

4mm H07 is more than adequate for a oven on 32amp supply. Most of the sparks out there will use twin & earth for the final connection.

Im not gonna lie ive done it before when needs must delroy, but they should have ring crimps on for sure. Could use a nut to space them off if it won't fit between the connection guards.

Looks rough as the next spark will be thinking some handyman done the work

I'd have read the power rating label on the back of the cooker. many new appliances are pulling way less than the old 45 amp cookers. I've even seen them with a 13 amp plug. did a induction oven a while back and it's max rating was 2.1 kw,used 4mm to cover myself and ran a 20 amp fuse. no full power trips and that allowing for diversity

Good real world video, deffo use 4mm hi tuff / HO7 instead of 6 unless you actually need 6mm, 4mm is more than adequate. On oven connections I tend to just ring crimps, looks nice and gives a good connection.

Thats rough m8 twisting cables round the connectors just use ring crimps better connection less chance of snapping ir breaking off some wire strands buddy i love your videos but on this occasion thats cheap and nasty i would like to think you would go back with some crimps and re do those connections pal if some of those strands are broke or poor the rest will have to take the slack or over time become an issue

Cable should be 6sq minimum they will pull 30+ amps when all elements on

Take a look at some manufacturers data, you'd be surprised.

& when was the last time you personally put all elements on an oven at the same time? let me guess.... Never. & 4mm is rated at about 37 amps, so i'm sure its fine on a 32amp breaker.

6mm is overkill for an oven,.unless you're future proofing for something down the line, 4mm is normally sufficient dependent on run length
