A new posting will be announced soon this month, so this video was made for you guys to get ready and suck in as much information as you can before it! Good luck everyone!
I was an AFOSI Special Agent. I served with them for 11 years. What a pain in the ass it was to get in! But wow, what an adventure it was. The stuff people write books about. When I joined, I was screened by the superintendent. He gave me a paper to read and sign. The title was "Ten Reasons to NOT become an AFOSI Special Agent." One of them was "If you are exceptional in your career field, you will be ordinary in the AFOSI." Absolutely true. You will be ordinary. Another was "the friends you have now will not be your friends after you become an OSI agent." Also true. Another was "whenever you are called, no matter the occasion, you must report immediately." Absolutely true. If there is any big incident, you must go. And you must go to crime scenes where there are dead people. And to autopsies where a medical examiner or local coroner is carving up people. It ain't easy. But what you learn in life from being an AFOSI agent transfers into anything you want to do in life.
Are these videos done with actual voice over or is it TTS? Cause every time AFOSI comes up it is said different in this video (which is odd, since each letter should be said independently) . Also, espionage was said very oddly.
In popular culture In the 2008 film Eagle Eye, actress Rosario Dawson played OSI Special Agent Zoe Perez. In the 2013 film Mirage Men, Richard Doty, a retired OSI special agent, played himself in a documentary about the OSI investigation into UFOs between 1952 and 1969. In the seventh episode of Season 8 in the 1997 television series Stargate SG-1, SG-1 team member Teal'c has been given permission to live off-base by the OSI in general, but is subsequently investigated by OSI officer 'Colonel Kendrick' for stopping or otherwise becoming involved with crimes in his neighbourhood. In the first episode of Season 2 in the 2013 television series The Americans, KGB Agents Phillip Jennings (Matthew Rhys) and Emmett Connors posed as "United States Air Force Security Forces" and wore OSI badges.
