I watched so many videos of yours, each one is presented beautifully with important information. I liked how you shared everything anatomically. As a final yr BDS student. I learnt a lot! Thanks a lot❤
All the respect for you doctor . You’re intelligent, you’re work is very neat, and the way you deliver the information is so simple and also so memorable. Thank you 🙏🏻
Vry useful and detailed video for beginners mam.expect more videos on how to overcome or prevent ledge formation and file breakage and how to avoid rc failure...pls 🙏
Great explanation it’s has more Pain even used for anesthesia I had never felt for my life this pain today 9 june 2023 when dentist done to me this procedure 😢
Please take anti inflammatory medicine for the relief of pain. It is not that painful a procedure. I hope u r getting u r treatment from a root canal specialist!
Beautiful video mam. I want to ask u i use to prepare upper C.I til 70 to 80 number file and use the same number master point. Is it correct? Where can I watch yr access cavity video? Can u make a video on all ceramic on upper anterior teeth .Thankyou
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YTBiCGSqlzM.html Access cavity video. It is not compulsory to prepare the Master apical file till 70 or 80. You need to do this only if the canal is large. For a moderate sized enlarging till 50 is also okay.
Crowns are a compulsory step for the posterior teeth after RCT. In case of anterior teeth, occlusion load may be less but discolouration tends to set in after sometime. Then crowns become necessary.
That is not the way it goes. The basic concept is that the canal should be completely sealed with no leakage. After placing the master cone we should see which all accessory cone can be used. Most commonly used cones are 25 and 20. They are thinner and they go deeper down.
@@sumeetasandhu Thank you mam...this is the thing that colleges don't teach us 😅 they told us to fill the remaining canal in consistent decreasing order 🥲 and in the end I wondered why my filled canal looks not great 😅
Hi doctor, at preclinical endodontic treatment class we were told that our master cone must be same as our master apical file. But in this video you used 2 numbers larger than MAF. What are the alternatives and can i use larger numbers when filing the canal? thank you
In this video I have shown how to do step back technique . As far as circumferential filing is concerned, that is one of the ways I have shown you can prepare the canals
For our quota..can we pass file through apex and according to it set working length and then take radiograph for working length..Is it correct procedure???
No it isn’t the correct procedure for clinical cases. From knowing the actual length of the tooth and pre-operative radiograph you can make the estimate of what the working length could be. Then put the file with the stopper at that length and take the radiograph. After that you can adjust accordingly.
Doc I have a question, is it really expensive to get an RCT? A smile was my way of coping with my problems but with my dental problem, I don't think I'll last if it gets worse
I am from India and it is not expensive to have a RCT here. I don’t really know which country you come from so I cannot comment. But don’t compromise on your smile.
@@sumeetasandhu I'm from the philippines and everything here is expensive when it comes to technology, so I've been more depressed thinking of whether to get RCT or be able to hold on before I become wealthy enough to not worry about the price. Anyways, thank you for the response. I greatly appreciate it of you ❤️
Mera ek sawal h mere 2 no front teeth k piche bich m cavity thi toh mene cavity filling karwai pr mera ek dant m deep cavity thi toh dr ne root canal k bola h mera teeth white h toh root canal k baad woh dark brown ya black ho jayega kya ? Or mujhe crown ki zarurat h kya ?? Please answer
Hi mam meri rct k baad surgery hui h upper right molar ki but aj 4 to 5 month hogy surgery ko but pain and sensitivity abi tk ni gya and also i have slight swelling i am so much concern about this 😢
Mam, i got a mild trauma in my front lower teeth years back. Now one of my lower teeth is mobile of grade 1 ... doctor told i have infection and suggested rct ....is is necessary ? Cant i fix it without rct?
Is there a reason during drying the canal that you increased the size of the paper points with each successive paper point? If 45 is the working length, why not just start immediately with the size 40 paper point?
Master apical file chosen is generally three times larger than the initial apical file . The initial apical file is the first file that can go easily till the working length.
EDTA is most commonly recommended while using rotary files since these are more prone to breakage. K flex files, Ir quite sturdy and don’t break easily. It is recommended in those cases where the canal is very narrow or partially calcified
Mam im having root canal treatment.i finished with first sitting.they put some medicine to remove the tissue and it touched my tongue and today i have burning sensation and ulcers on my left side of tongue
In pic the box containing files has 21mm marked on it but the file taken for working length determination is of 25 mm. I should have mentioned it in d video.
Master apical file is three numbers larger than the initial apical file which fits into the Canal. For example, if your initial aptical file that goes till the working length is 15 number then the master apical file is 30 number. In case of wide canals like Max central incisor the enlargement done is more in order to ensure that all the pulp has been removed and proper canal space has been created
