Shamanic dance of Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan performed in Hunza Valley, Pakistan. The Shamans of Gilgit-Baltistan are famous all over the world for their abilities to foretell the future .
They get into a trance by inhaling juniper smoke in massive quantities. It is said that the fairies possessing the Shamans inform them about the upcoming events.
The shamans locally known as the "Bitans" then sing in the Shina language foretelling the upcoming events.
The Shamans inherit this quality by birth and they belong to specific shamanic families.

Exactly this same type of culture happens in himalayan indian state (uttarakhand, Himachal and Nepal) We worship our ancestor gods, spirit worship and follow shamanic practice

GB is very diverse, it is not ethnicity but a nation. Shamanism was performed by Turk-Mongol and the Himalayan people. In GB many people have a Turkic origin and some migrated from Surrounding areas.
