Hi Marnie, My mom always used Pond's Cold Cream to remove her make up. She would put the Pond's on her face then take a warm wet washcloth and take all the make up off. She then used Ivory soap to wash her face and then moisturized with the Pond's. My mom had beautiful skin all her life. It's interesting to see how skin care has changed thru the years. Your complexion looks beautiful so keep doing what you are doing. xo, Karen

My mom & her mother both used ponds and had beautiful skin. To this day I use it. Mostly for sentimental reasons. I remember in my mom’s last months rrubbing her face with ponds moisture cream. That smell❣️. It’s mom and grandma

What really makes skin care work is consistentcy. My grandmother didn't use anything expensive but was very consistent. You look beautiful without makeup.

I use coconut oil to get makeup off because I have rosacea. So many products have chemicals that bother my skin. I then use a very gentle cleanser followed by castor oil. It takes about two hours for the castor oil to really penetrate the skin, but the results are fantastic! I use castor oil to condition my hair 2xs weekly and I use it on my eyebrows and eyelashes. Also I use a pea sized amount of coconut oil and mix it with my liquid foundation. The foundation looks much more natural.

I’m trying CR for the first time! I ordered the micro mineral smoother, eye serum and tinted eye cream. I am a long time Skin Ceuticals user so looking forward to trying these out. I’m also trying the moisturizer you recommended from Sephora. I currently use the tinted moisturizer/ SPF from charlotte tilbury and really like it. There’s a Lancombe one I like as well.

Thank you for all the info. I am already using the CR illuminating Tinted Eye Cream under my eyes and use Colorscience Total Eye Therapy on my lids as a primer. I will be ordering the CR toner, because although I have been using Curology for years, I still am sensitive in a few areas and am hoping this will help. I have tried many tinted sunscreens and right now am using Illia Tinted Serum, because I live in NY and my combo skin needs more moisture. In warmer and more humid months I like Australian Gold.

Hi Marnie. I have always loved your videos. I am now 53 and needing to do some upgrade to my skin care routine. I currently do use a tretinoin prescription. I would love to bring some brightness to my complexion and of course I would love to take better care of those fine lines by my eyes. Hi Marnie! Another great video, I love my CR products and found them through your videos 🎉 I use most of the PM cleansing items listed, but may have to try the Agency prescription item as well as the Biossance Overnight rescue. Do you no longer use the CR Sheer Renewal Cream? I am watching you on IG to see the final recommendation for tinted SPF. I just turned 68 and think that I need to up my game with using an SPF daily. I have been blessed with great skin, but now I have to get serious about it!! 😂

You should absolutely be wearing SPF daily-even if you do nothing else! I found that I needed a little more moisture than the sheer renewal was providing, but I may revisit that in the summer.

FYI - Agency makes a tinted sunscreen that I use too. I tend to go between Agency and DRMTLGY. Also, I haven’t used La Mer, so I can’t compare, but I’ve heard that Avène Cicalfate+ is a less expensive alternative. I like it. It’s thick, so I only use in the evening. I’d be curious to see how you think it compares to La Mer.

I'm in the process of replacing my neck cream, hopefully with one that doesn't break the bank. You don't have the same neck issues I do, so I see you don't use a neck-specific product, which I wasn't expecting you to use. LOL I use a toner in the evening, haven't thought about using it in the mornings too. May add that to my routine, thank you!

Just curious, but is the Cleansing Balm formulated to not need a 2nd cleanse afterwards? I see it removes the makeup well, but with retinol and other actives I would feel remiss in not actually washing my face. Lucky you if you don't suffer from breakouts! Thanks for sharing!

Do you use primer? Maybe in this order: sunscreen, primer, makeup. I started using the Elta MD sunscreen in place of primer. I miss the smoothness of the primer although the foundation looks fine over the sunscreen.

I use alot of Colleen Rothschild's products. Have you seen a noticeable difference in using the retinol eye serum? Do you mix the Loreal concealer N1 & W2? Also, I've been wanting to try the Trish McAvoy Instant eye lift, does it help? Thank you, I really appreciate the info & really enjoyed the video.😊

I haven't noticed a difference since using the eye serum, but I also haven't noticed any changes for the worse. I use N1 under my eyes and W2 on any uneven skin tone on my face. I have made tons of videos and even dedicated a Reel on Instagram about the Instant Eye Lift. Yes, it works.

I was intolerant of glycolic acid too, until I tried (specifically) the 8% LOTION from Paula's Choice. Still can't do her other versions of it, but I have used that one daily without issues.

Hate La Mer BUT. When my skin gets really dry (like now for instance) I use their 8 min mask. It’s freaking 200 bucks but it the only one remedy that gets the job done. Thanks for the tip with soft cream BTW. Couldn’t make it work for me because of the very thick texture.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The mystery of removing make up finally solved. Seriously, today’s makeup is a huge improvement and doesn’t transfer. The only way I have been able to remove it is with my Clairsonic! I am 71 and am only now dappling with foundation and eye shadow. Marnie, you nailed it🩷
