Hard to believe that other auditing firms wouldnt bother to double check the fixed vulnerabilities. Its like a doctor prescribing some medication to a patient and not checking for alergic reactions. Pure gold content bro!
Is there an audit framework being developed by a community in the open source space on Github? The report, findings , and validity of a smart contract "Audit" are currently defined by the Auditor. Not sure anything close develops unless federal regulatory compliance requirements are implemented ( who knows )

Really depends on the size of the codebase. Less than 1,500 lines or so can be done in a week. More than 5,000 lines can take on the order of a month. Complexity of the code is a factor as well.
