I have a SAKO 22-250 about 40 years old. Still shoots perfectly. Wish I could afford a S20 in 308 with Hunter stock. Best rifle (I think) in existence. Well done!.
Purchased BOTH in 6.5 PRC from EuroOptic here in Penn.USA . Both shot holes inside each hole or made quarter size shots. Looking for more barrel options for our future hunting and target fun. Dad and Son team thank you SAKO team for this. Finnish Granny is to blame! lol RIP

How did you solve the problem with feeding cartridges from the store, or did it remain an unresolved problem? I just bought the same carbine in .308 caliber just yesterday and after watching your video I was a little puzzled, I made the right choice in general or not ))) Please tell me what barrel twist (barrel rifling pitch) the version has S20 hunter .308 and what weight does a bullet fly more heap?
You mention that the magazine length has been increased to accommodate reloaders. For the long actions, such as 300 WinMag, where Sammi is 3.34 or 85mm, what is the maximum recommended COAL that will fit into the magazine and feed properly?

Great rifle! However, there need to be more choices for the hand grips like the Tikka and also create hand grip like cz 600 ergo, and also create a hand grip that multiple 4 rounded groves for individual fingers to better fit the fingers. The S20 hunter version hand/finger does not fit the little finger, and the next to little correctly finger. A simple upgrade option. Sako, could you offer these additional versions hand/finger grips on your website. Adding 7mm PRC and 300 PRC with 26-inch barrels as new chambering options would be great as well. Hopefully, these genuine ideas to improve the product line will be taken seriously. Have a great day!
I love my S20 in 30-06... I have Hunter configuration and am able to hold SUB MOA to half MOA with my hunting loads.. and managed to have a 6 shot string that measured .52" I will be getting another one just not sure on caliber yet... Would love to get one in 260 Remington being I already load for that

@@jabooee I love the feel of the Hunter stock... and also being I make my own ammo the Magizen has such a generous length I can load just about any bullet combo I want with no issue.. one load I have made up that can not fit in most magazines is a Barns 120gr Boat Tail for the 300 Blackout seated to the canalure. Load them up with Varget and am getting 3260fps sitted in .5" high at 50 yards ...1.75" high at 100yards and 1.25" low at 200 yards for most my hunting for white tail deer in Minnesota that will work fine.... I have shot most bullets from 120gr up to 220gr just absolutely beautiful

Would like to know what the barrel/receiver threads diameter and threads per inch are. Important information for replacing a barrel and availability of custom barrels.
You have stated that the magazine length is optimised for long COAL however I have measured the 300 win mag and the magazine length is 90mm, this is 4mm less than the sako 85 in that same caliber. In addition it would be helpful to increase the 30 caliber twist rate to at least 1 in 10 twist so we can shoot 200+ gn projectiles. The 7mm rem mag is ok for this mag length and twist rate, with twist of 1 in 9.5 will be good for 180gn projectiles

No disrespect but I don’t care about you QD option please I want to know what type of steel are using for your barrels do you have different options like stainless steel? Is there a premium option? I would pay more but I want my barrels to last 10,000+ shots in 308, for example Can you talk about different types of steel that you are using? And yes, I understand that you are using call hammered fours but still I am interested to know what type of steel what is the composition of it Thanks
Unfortunately I am disappointed with mine. Trigger adjustment to less than 2.5 Lbs will cause slam fire/failure to cock when cycling the bolt. I wish USA customer service existed for these rifles too.
hopefully they will resolve the magazine issue of not reliable and consistanty chambering new rounds. slight vertical slop in the magazine to cause the bolt to skip over the cartage. (well documented problem) apparently few 300 win mags have that issue. nice concept if the quality control is kept in check, fix it, do not just just discontinue the 20 and move on to another model !
I would buy this rifle in a heartbeat because in this rifle you have made all the issues I had with standard rifles out the go away 🙏 but...and there is a big but..why on earth have you changed the magazine to this..the one from the 75/85 was the best no-nonsense magazine on the globe 🌎 It's such a shame 😞 sorry to say. I have multiple tikkas and sako's and this could have been the one.
Shame on Sako. I am unable to purchase 10 rounds magazine for 3006 and Sako doesn't provide any information. The essential magazine is unavailable and out of stock. Many many months in desperate searchings and nada.
That stock sucks. The cheek piece sucks when you raise it up there's a gigantic gap between the stock and a small piece of cheek piece. The button to raise the cheek piece sucks. 500 thin little pieces of plastic to build a stock out of it, sucks. 5000 little bolts in a stock is ridiculously asinine. That stock looks like it was made by some idiot who likes to play with Legos. Who builds crap that actually doesn't work but looks like it does. The trigger is great. The integral picatinny rail would be great if it had a couple of more slots in it. The ejection port is cut to make it look like it's fakely cool. And is only good for feeding out of the magazine. The build quality of the action, barrel, and trigger is great. There are idiots in charge of designing that stuff that can not seem to utilize the quality of the gun itself. Put to much into aesthetics instead of usefulness.
Could not agree more. The stock on my S-20 is about as cheap as you can get. I paid 1700 of mine and i wish had not bought it. It looks so freaking cheap. You said it best. I will never buy another Sako.
Send me one, I live in N Michigan the ultimate deer hunting state 1.75 million Whitetail! I will put it through hell and back as my city has over 141 inches of snow each year. If it performs in my county, it will perform anywhere.
sad to say it started out as a good pipe dream, but flopped due to apparent quality control issues and customer service blow offs. most are consistent and great shooters, but apparent the word got out. 5 shot moa factory guaranty with factory ammo is pretty stout
Did Sako have to make the stock so cheap? Its hollow and the mold lines from the injection molding make it look and feel really cheap for the 1700 i paid for it. Maybe someone will make an after market sold stock for it. I would buy it in a heart beat. So disappointed in it.
