material required for teeth setting
Maxillary occlusal rim with cast
• Mandibular occlusal rim with cast
Mean value articulator Teeth shade
• Measurement scale
• Wax knife • Roach carver
• Wax spatula Wax sheet
• Gas torch
• Cotton
• Rubber bowl with cold water
• Marking pencil
The vertical overlap (over bite) between the maxillary and mandibular incisal edge should be 0.5-1 mm,
and the horizontal overlap (over jet) between the maxillary and mandibular incisal edges should be 1-2 mm.
The horizontal overlap should be uniform from left maxillary to right maxillary canine

Sir are mandibular lateral incisors 0.5 mm below the level of central.

No. Central and lateral both should be 0.5-1mm above the occlusion plane . Only in maxillary teeth setting lateral is 0.5mm above the level central

If you look closely at the anatomy of the tooth you can see the mesiobuccal cusp is bigger and should be on the mesial side always. If you interchange the tooth then mesiobuccal cusp will become distobuccal cusp

In mandibular teeth arrangement, there's sequence of placing posterior teeth.1st molar ,2nd premolar,1st premolar and lastly 2nd molar

In that case use your instrument to seal it, how will you do that? So heat your instrument and move around your teeth in the wax and leave it for a moment

Sir for me firdt premolar's buccal cusp is not touching the glass plate instead palatal cusp touches the glass plate . What should i do ?

Just follow the textbook and try to place it buccally Use carver or wax spoon and push it towards the rims

It depends how you set your maxillary teeth , maxillary incisors should be 15° labially . If maxillary are sloped more than 15° then change the maxillary otherwise mandibular

How much wax to remove how to know?

It should not exceed the record base and teeth you placed So a better way to check that is use the wax knife and place it from record base towards the teeth

Different shades are available 😊 I am a dental student and we take whatever shade is available… I am myself using a slightly yellow coloured shade for teeth setting in my pre clinics 😊😊

I don't think there's any shame in this...a lot of people who have lost there teeth due to various reasons can get a partial as well as full denture...so that they can eat whatever they want...and all this has esthetic value as well... These teeth are available in multiple shades ...and multiple sizes depending upon patient's bite.. So you don't feel shame that they all have same teeth😅
