Next time come visit Yunnan and Xinjiang, which is the most beautiful place in China. You can see snow mountain, lake, forest, glacier and lots of historical sites.
Actually I found your RU-vid channel today itself and I went through many of your videos... they are so cute and great! Hope you will upload more and more videos .... specially this kind of videos coz i have never been to china though china is my dream country...so through this video i felt like woah.... i just gained some good picture about xi'an !!!! And this will be important for me when I travel china someday... 💜 good luck on your channel and have a nice time!
Local cuisine was delicious!! The hike we did wasn’t scary, but if you do the “Plank in the Sky” ... that looks super scary! You have to be harnessed in for it.
You can improve your videos by equalizing the volume levels between different parts of your videos. The music is way too loud and the thumping beat doesn't help. The narration is too soft compared to the music. I am way more interested in what you have to say than the blaring, thumping music which probably belong more in a dance club than a vlog about an eastern historical place. it's tiring having to constantly turn up the volume to try to hear what you say, then get a shock when the loud music kicks in and having to lower the music immediately. Content wise, it's great but with proper sound, it will be much more comfortable for the viewer.
A couple other things I'd recommend seeing in Xi'an. The light and sound display at the water fountains in front of the Giant Goose Pagoda is amazing, as is The Welcoming Ceremony at the South Gate. I regret not hiring a bicycle and cycling the full circuit on top of the ancient city wall - certainly something I'd do if I ever return. My wife and I were a bit underwhelmed when we visited The Terracotta Army but that was probably because we have seen so much about them over the years, on TV and in books, that we knew what to expect. Anyone planning to go to Mount Huashan - check the weather conditions first. We took the train to get there, only to find the cable car and plank walk was closed because of high winds.
Thanks for sharing Brian. You are so right about biking on top of the ancient wall. We didn't do it personally but I had friends try and they said it was absolutely breathtaking and giving people different perspectives.
Nice Xi'an city to visit I am also here now and trying to visit these places one by one every week Including hiking the mountains, foods specially noodles, historical palaces, glass bridge, most incident city wall, rivers etc. I suggest you all to visit the Xi'an city China. Thank you guys
Fantastic fascinating thank you so much can I ask what month you went to visit xian I really want to travel and visit from the UK. Many thanks in particularity interested in the mountain visit and trek. My only concern is the weather I want to go when it's warm not hot or cold. Would love your suggestions
I went last year in April. It's before the labor day holiday in China but still quite packed. I highly recommend going there in Spring season or early Fall. I believe September is the best month to visit.
@@AheadofThymeRecipes hello thank you kindly for your reply very much appreciated. Would you say 2 weeks is to long or just right to really explore Xian.
@@bobmarley6161 Xi'an is a must-see city when travelling in China. A week would be enough if you just want to see the major attractions and try local food, but there are a few great sightseeing places in the nearby cities. It's worth checking it out also.
@@AheadofThymeRecipes I'll have to do some research I've never been to China but I liked the look of xian. How did you plan your trip or did you just fly out and explore. Any advice would be much appreciated. I think I'll try for 2 to 3 weeks time in China but don't want to rush.
@@bobmarley6161 You definitely need to do some homework before the trip. It not only helps save money and time but also makes your travel experience bettter. I would suggest watching a few travel videos on Xian to get an idea of what the city is like.
It's nice to see humans have preserved some old cultures - Are there any Megalithic Sites in China ? South America has ancient cities, pre-ice age temples, built from 40 ton blocks of solid granite... all ruins now, which is unfortunate the culture and people that created such amazing things was Lost. There must also be some ancient cities of megalithic structures hidden throughout China ?
