Pakistan is home to some of the most amazing lakes in the world. The Pakistani northern areas are a trekkers heaven where scenic Pakistani treks lead to amazing destinations in Pakistan.
As recorded by the live telemetry, altitude of Dudipatsar lake is 3,868m above sea level. The total distance of Dudipatsar lake trek is almost 19km and the trekking time for Dudipatsar lake is about 7 hours for a reasonably fit trekker. The total elevation gain from the trek starting point in Besal is roughly 650m.

How much is total hike till the lake ... elevation gain ? And can u combine Sural lake trek w it ?

Total length is about 19km, with an elevation gain of 650m. The hike can be extended to include Saral lake as well. It will take one extra day though.

In the past there have been a few incidents here, but recently lots of people have been visiting this lake. I think you should be fine as long as you go with a group of 3-4 people at least.

@@PoVTube I see...My previous guide said, this place is dangerous and someone can shoot you anytime if we decide to go here..Is it true? So he dont want to bring us here. But im not sure for what reason and why.But this place is so stunning. One of my whishlist.

@@MuhsinahAkmal such incidents have happened here in the past. But if you go with a group, have a local guide with you and not camp anywhere other than Mulla ki Basti, then I think you should be ok.

what time of the year did you go? Care to share your itinerary?

I went in mid-August 2020. The trail head is at a 10 hour drive from Islamabad which is the capital city. I started the hike at about 12:45 pm and reached the campsite by 05:45 pm. After camping overnight, I started hiking again next morning at 07:30 am and reached the lake at 09:15 am. Stayed at the lake for couple of hours and then headed all the way back, reaching the trailhead at 05:15 pm.
