Asalamulaikum, this is my complete Umrah vlog where I show you how to do Umrah as an international pilgrim. I fly from USA to Madinah with a stop in Istanbul Turkey. Once in Madinah and giving Salam to Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, I go to Masjid Quba and do 2 sunnah there. After that, I head out the next day to Meeqat Dhu Al Hulayfa in Madinah and go Ghusl and enter the state of Ihraam.
Once in Ihraam, I leave directly for Makkah reciting Talbiya along the way. Once I enter Makkah boundaries, I recite Allāhumma hādhā ḥaramuka wa amnuka fa ḥarrimnī ‘ala-n-Nār, wa amminnī min ‘adhābika yawma tab’athu ‘ibādak, wa j‘alnī min awliyā’ika wa ahli ṭā’atik and then we stop at Al Baik to eat and then head directly to Movenpick Hajar Towers in front of Masjid Al Haram Makkah.
After check in, I head to Masjid Al Haram, recite the dua to enter Masjid Al Haram which is A‘ūdhu bi-llāhi-l-Aẓīm, wa bi-wajhihi-l-karīm, wa sulṭānihi-l-qadīm, mina-sh-Shayṭāni-r-rajīm.
Upon first sight of the Kaaba I make a dua InshaAllah may Allah SWT accept it. I head for Mataaf and Alhamdulilah for the first time in more than 2 years, the boundary around the Kaaba has been removed and you can even touch Hajar Aswad (the black stone). I was able to touch the Kaaba so many times and even the Kaaba door Alhamdulilah. I even prayed inside Hijr Ismail many times. It is mandatory to take your right should out of the Ihraam when starting Tawaf and also recite: Allāhumma innī urīdu l-ṭawwafa baytika l-ḥarāmi fa yassirhu lī wa taqabbalhu minnī. Every time you pass Rukn Al' Yamani, you must recite: Rabbanā ātinā fi d-dunyā ḥasanatan wafi l-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā ‘adhāba n-nār and then when you reach Hajr Aswad (the green lights will tell you), recite Allahu Akbar, Asalamulaikum Ya Hajar Aswad.
Once I was done with Tawaf in Mataaf, I prayed Salat Ishaa and also the 2 sunnah after performing Tawaaf. I drank alot of Zamzam at this point and then head to Sae'e for the 7 rounds in between Mount Safa and Mount Marwah. As I approach Mount Safa, I recited: Inna ṣ-ṣafā wa l-marwata min sha’ā’iri llāh(i) followed by Abda’u bimā bad’allahu bihi.
Once I reach Mount Marwa, I recite: Inna ssafa wal-marwata min shahahirillah faman hajjal bayta awihitamara fala junaha alaehi an yatawwafa bihima waman tattawaha khairan fa-inna llaha shakirun haleemun and recite this looking at the Kaaba (if you can) and everytime you reach Mount Safa and Mount Marwah.
Finally after completing 7 rounds, I exited Masjid Al Haram and there was a young kid standing outside who offered to do the final step: trimming/shaving the head. He clipped my hair from various spots as required and I was completed with Umrah Alhamdulilah.
