I just bought the Davey Crockett, great little unit. They had a Trek on the cart in the store, but thought I would prefer the folding legs/handle on the DC more. After a couple cooks....I should have gotten the Trek. The handles on both sides would be much better than the folding ones, which are honestly a pain. Oh well, still a good little cooker

Just bought the Davey Crocket 3 weeks ago! Wish I would of waited because those legs aren't the best design and being able to move the heat shield is a great improvement

yeah you can move yours, but have to disassemble first.

Return your DC and exchange it for the Trek. I'd believe the dealer wouldn't have a problem with it

Can we still get the 2 piece sliding grease plate with the holes in it for direct cooking like on the DC?

@@DRSmokeNJ I found some vendors that still have some, but I think I'm just going to buy a pizza oven instead. GrillGrates makes grates that fit the pizza oven and that will probably be even better than the sliding grease plates.

Hi guys I've got a Trek, could you look at yours and check for me the port where you screw antenna onto is yours at a slight angle coming out of the control board? I.e. not straight

Love the screen name! The slight angle some units have, but I would not stress about it as long as the wifi works.
