It's 12.6 cents per note. Thats around five dollars to print a 32 note sheet worth $3200 dollars. Pretty good profit if you ask me. Even though that sound a bit lite considering how many times the sheet is handled and the 4 different processes it goes through.
Thanks for clearing that up brother... There really are some serious and well educated numismaticians that are a part of the Legal Tender Tuesday family (C.O.T.C)...
@@legaltender1980 Just type in "Catalyst Series Currency" in any search engine and you'll get a long list of references. And I too have to agree with the PO Box. You could do a "Mail Call" like many others.
Yes, for the monochrome series, the $100, $50, and the $20 got the Series 1996 distinction. The colorized Series did a bit more than just add the splash of color. They also added the Eurion Constellation to the notes, and other less obvious features. The colorized $100 also changed the reverse image of Independence Hall to a view from the opposite side of the building. The term your thinking of is seiniorage. Looking forward to the new Catalyst Series of notes starting in 2026 with the $10, and that one promises to add Raised Tactile Features (RTF) to help the visually impaired.
Your correct about the Eurion constellation. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with brother. I had never heard of the Catalyst series either. I'm looking forward on learning more about that. Do you have a reference source I could utilize???
@legaltender1980 Just do a Google search using Catalyst Series BEP, and it will give you the information from the BEP first. They really are tight-lipped about anything more than the name of the generation, and that they will have RTF, and the possible order and year of release. I am simply following the BEP on social media and taking whatever information that they do release. I would expect to see even more information next year as they get closer to release of the newest $10.
For very specific information, there is this audit... www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/GOVPUB-T72-PURL-gpo142548/pdf/GOVPUB-T72-PURL-gpo142548.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi15N7ZyMuEAxXoFjQIHRLgBVIQFnoECDwQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1IV3H7y0Lu7R6dNq7-WdcO
@@legaltender1980I do have one set aside that you have shown interest in. Beyond that, I feel like there might be other RU-vidrs who may have an interest in sending things out to you.
@collectingonthecheap56353 that's crazy. I really am super appreciative for the gesture and sincerity I really am. You talked me into it. I'll head to my local post office and see what all I'll need to set up a P.O. Box. That's is really exciting for me. I was only going to make/ post videos for a year. But that benchmark has come and gone. I really love sharing my knowledge of the hobby, while still continuing to learn the hobby myself... Thanks for support brother...
