The limited run physical pre order window closes this weekend. I’m a huge fan of contra and I was hoping this would help me decide. Seems okay but not sure if I’m sold buying the game. I appreciate the honest video.
yeah it sucks because I was really looking forward to this game. Though dont get me wrong its an okay Run N Gun game, but it really doesnt live up to the Contra legacy. I think if WayForward got to make another Contra title in the near future, and learn from their missteps. They could make a really great game. BTW thank you for watching the video!
Thank you! Sorry it came so late I just wanted to really give this game a fair shake. Plus its the type of game you have to beat more then once to give it a fair review.
It’s not a terrible game if it was a cheap Contra “clone”. It just falls short for an official Contra title, esp for one that costs $40. Btw a Contra room? That has to be pretty badass.
I did say “corpse” and I know it’s wrong. ever since I was a kid I would call it hard “corpse” instead “hardcore”. It’s a bad habit that even as an adult I just can’t seem to break. To make it worse is I don’t even know I’m doing it half the time. lol every time I get called out on it (rightfully so) I feel like I let the Contra community down.
