The lake you shot the bighorn at is the best lake for mountain goats in my experience. Three of my 5-star goats have come from the same herd that usually drinks at the northern* end of the lake

I am stuck at Reptilians in the Woods. This was the last I did. No more missions to get that key and open the basement. i have a couple of TASKS active. Black bear 4* 10 mature snowshoe hares 3 white-tailed deer from hunting stand 27 kg snowshoe hares Wolves 2* 3* 4* Mule-snowshoe hare-duck in the heart And all the camps are found.

Every time you recall to a previous video and mention a animal that was a 4 and might have become a 5 I immediately think you are going to do a flashback and show a clip of that animal. I don’t know why, probably from real hunting videos where they will show trail camera pictures or previous year footage. Regardless, I think it would be really cool if you implemented that, however it might be challenging to actually go back and find that footage!

I’m still kinda confused on the genetics in the harvest screen. I shot an 81% 4 star mature mule deer. I’m guessing that was a bad thing

81% would not make 5*. So you made the most of that harvest. Whether it was good or bad depends on other animals in the herd. If it is good herd that it was good kil. If this was best animal in the herd you might have decrease overall genetics of that herd.

It's absolutely worth having just for running over animals, it's hilarious and turns the game into Grand theft auto in the great outdoors. But it's fast and much easier to handle and get the map uncovered.

Finally went ahead and got the game last night. It's going to take a lot for me to prefer it over COTW for now, but I can't complain about a mature melanistic mule buck being my first trophy...if only it was 3 stars higher lol

It really depends on your play style. Since getting WOTH I've tried playing COTW a number of times but I don't enjoy it like I used to. I much prefer the challenge & strategy of WOTH. Once they introduce more rares & non-typicals it will be even better.

They're going to also need to add more animal species, dogs and remodel some of the the animals (especially the birds, mountain goats and moose) so they stop looking like sock puppets and maybe then I'll change my mind. I think people are just calling WOTH better because it's a new game.

@@zachjohnson9391 People aren't saying WOTH is better cos it's new, it's cos they prefer the more realistic game style that requires strategy & patience. Others still prefer the 'run & gun' arcade style of COTW. It's each to their own.
