Wait till you get a mouth full of fuel when you're emptying a gas tank. Worst drink I've ever had. Wish it was E85.

clèwn been there, when i was trying to take some gas from my bike tank using a tube... well apparently i was too excited when sucking the tube and suddenly a strong spearmint-like flavor was all over my inner mouth. damn

can't believe that they'd just use alcohol and glycerine as a damper fluid... Both are hydroscopic and one would think that it would just rust out the dampers in short order... Not to mention that that mixture is very much drinkable assuming it was ethanol that was used...

Thanks for doing one in English. I suspect that most of us who watch do so even if we can't understand Dutch but it's still nice to get a little clarification of the finer points. And we are still wondering about the status of the turret - are the authorities afraid you'll take over the country if you have a gun turret to go along with the hull ? You know, like the Governor of Virginia.

they im sure will get the turret, the gun barrel will be decommisioned somehow of course. this video missed the bit about the sprocket wheel, we saw it come off in the workplacevlog..but that was only one side and we didnt know why it had to come off..anyone ?

@@jusb1066 the sprocket wasn't turning freely so they thought there were some wires and such spooled up in there. They removed it and indeed there was a lot of crud in there, rust and such. They believe this was the cause of the sprocket not turning freely and that not the final drive gearing was the problem

@@jusb1066 they needed to check if the transmission gears on that side where still good, and there where a lot of electrical wires wrapt around the sprocket when they got it. so those needed to go aswell. they where scared that the gears where broken becouse it didnt want to turn.

Where do you find the parts for this tank? Used parts from salvage, buy them off the shelf new or at the Russian, ( or should I say Chinese ), Military Surplus Store? Hah. You are correct, it's always the last two torsion bars that tend to break. Back thirty some years ago when I was the TC on an Army M60A3 it was the last torsion bar so we had to pull the powerpac and everything related just to gain access to it. Needless to say, it was a big job. Hey, please stop scratching your new paint. Keep the videos coming.

I think they get from our polish frends. Poland army have many tanks from USSR and have factory for fix and rebuild tanks.

To drink shock-absorbing fluid, you need to separate the alcohol from the oil. At a temperature of -35С or -40С degrees outside, you need to take a crowbar (our crowbar is a rod with a diameter of about 25 mm and a length of 1.5 m). Then you need to pour shock-absorbing fluid on the rod standing at an angle. The oil will flow more slowly than the alcohol. There is such a legend in our region. Spares for a t55, ordered from Poland. They are interchangeable with this tank.

A big thank you to those who put together the subtitles, to be honest I watch all the videos anyway even though I can't understand the language, it's the skilled workmanship that goes into this tank I like. I have a question Milo, what Issues are there with the Turret? is it in storage with how must restoration work needed and do you have to prove to the authorities, that it can no longer be active as a weapon before your allowed to show it in public? Anyway fantastic guys, you've both done a wonderful job (including all that have helped out) Ik hou van de tank!

the tracks are already back on the tank. Watch the secundairy channel for daily updates. After a view days those video's also have subtitles.
