You have already gotten the aesthetic of the time completely right, and these dalek designs sit so well in colour, where we almost never saw them. This all proves that the classic daleks are compatible with the modern era on their own.

I think what a lot of people miss about the original creep factor to the Daleks, in 60s Classic Who, is the fact they're design is so heavily rooted in the 60s abstract aesthetic, popularised with large textureless geometric and obscuring shapes and bold palette colours beset with grey concrete. They're abstractness and uncanny inhuman-ism makes it so that you can't take your eyes from them trying to figure them out but there is nothing to figure out. Its a design that gives you everything you're not looking for and that unreadability is what makes them so terrifying. And its that that this trailer captures so well!

This has so much of a 60's feel I love it.

I can already tell that if the cards are played right, we can get extremely invested. The oranges trying to subdue the blues? Is there a rebellion going on? Are the oranges oppressed?

The style of this film fits right at home with Terry nations original vision of the daleks. Having their own forms of culture and art. I can't wait for it to be released fully. Keep up the good work

There’s something that gets me when it showed the two Daleks staring at a tree. Are they fascinated by it? Do Daleks appreciate things outside of war?

Same vibes as the original Dalek theme from Dalek's, go search it up. But like in that theme you can hear some uncanny sort of recognisation as you hear the distant sounds of what was once actually comforting music, likely Kaled (sounds human) music, over turned with the just frankly uncanny theme over top that the Daleks have. It gives me the same uncanny vibes. It's likely mainly me either being used to the loud chanting or eerie sounds of the Classic's, but this suits the uncanny valley well. Like typically, you wouldn't expect Daleks to be around such a jovial song, and the fact it slightly goes off makes it THAT much better, as it sets off your nerves to say that "this ain't right" Overall excited.

im here for the 60's retro vibe and giving me 1984 vibes. Love the animation. I wish they could go back to similar designs in the actual series

This is incredible!! I’m beyond excited for this, and I love the 60s style. And something really caught my attention: The broken Dalek that appears to have dropped was covered in red. Daleks bleed green. Whose blood was that? Was it blood at all? Was that Dalek not descended from Kaleds?? I’m so so excited to find out!!
