As someone who had a heart attack just a few months ago at the age of 25, this is scary. However it's something I need to learn about and take measures to overcome any health issues. Although it's not in depth, it's a good start in understanding the issue. Thanks for the good lessons prof.

What does mitral valve regurgitation feel like? Ventricular defect? Tomponade? What does the patient describe? What does it sound like thru stethoscope? Look like on EKG? How is patient feeling? Is it different?

what effect does all this have on the brain or more specifically someone with mild to mid grade dementia? I would imagine the lack of blood flow has a detrimental effect on how the brain functions....thank you

I have a question. I believe I had a heart attack about 5 months ago. But I didn’t get tests done till about 3 months after I had the supposed heart attack. The doctors say my heart is fine and all the results of the EKG and blood work indicate I never had a heart attack. Is it safe to assume I never had a heart attack. Or should I still assume I had one. Because I have some serious problems now months after my “heart attack”. Problems I never had before

I have a question! If a patient with hypertension has a MI, does that mean they run the risk of becoming hypotensive now that the heart is damaged? And if that is the case, would you stop hypertensive treatment such as ACE inhibitors?
