Hope this video was helpful to you! I intentionally didn’t cover the „new“ composite mode because MrAlexTech did a great video explaining them! If you are interested in them as well - check out his video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ROhsw1QKK8g.html
You made the composite modes much less confusing by grouping them by similar characteristics. I guess we all need to experiment a bit to find the one that works best with the footage we got. Screen composite is usualy the good starting point.
Hey Dawid! Thank you so much - I appreciate that! Yes- the grouping is just to bring you in the ‚ballpark‘ and from there you can play around with the ones you might need!🙏🏽
Thank you so much Gary! Really hope it was informative and helpful - I am also working on a pdf document, going deeper into each of these modes - that was supposed to come along with this video, unfortunately I couldn’t finish it on time (It is far from being finished lol 😂) but due to me an Lena moving (again 🙄) we have to focus on the move right now!😁 Always appreciate your kind words and support brother!!👊🏽
Hiya, so I was wondering, I am wanting to composite writing from my iPad, onto another video, using Final Cut Pro. They used a black background and white writing, then composited it on top with the overlay blend mode, and it removed the black and left the white writing. Any idea which mode would achieve this please?
Hey! So what’s the thing you want to achieve now? If you want to get rid of the black background- use „screen“. If you want to cut out the white writing, use „multiply“
@@SebastianFriedrichVisuals Thankyou. I ended up going through a bunch of the composite modes and ended up on "add" . This removed the black background perfectly.
If i chose an Luma Composite mode an an Foreground layer. Its not posible to fade in any of this Layer an Opacity also not working. Can you or someone explane this ?
Hey Niko! Not sure if I got your question right but so assume you are trying to fade in the different luminance values (i.e. bright to dark)? If this is the case you are better of using the luma keyer in the fusion page
@@SebastianFriedrichVisuals for example I want use a black white video as a luma for another video layer. And I want to fade in the luma or the another video. I not work. I got to go to the colour page or to fusion to do the opacity animation. It’s looks like a big for me.
@@adityachaudhary554 absolutely- if you are just doing simple editing without heavy color grades and effects, you could even go with the m1 Mac mini - but if the budget allows to go for the m2, then definitely do that!:)
Vielen Dank Nadine!
