I wear glasses. I've used "over glasses sunglasses" which work well but I don't think they are category 4. What would I wear on Aconcagua? There isn't a large variety of over glasses sunglasses. Also, what type of goggles are worn--photochromic lenses that change or do you change lenses? I ask this because you start in total darkness and end in very bright light. I've done Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, Inca Trail and many US state highest peaks. I really hope you can help me and when I go, I've heard very good things about Grajales and would choose you. Thank you for this excellent video.
Hello! We are happy to hear you have hear great reviews about us :-) . Please contact us through www.grajales.net , we would be happy to assist you with an equipment list !
Great vid! Is an inflatable sleeping mat with an R-value of 3.5 enough if paired with a closed cell foam mat? Or would you need one of those "extreme" inflatables up over 6 R-value and also a foam mat?
For the pee bottle I have found that a 2 litre coloured plastic milk bottle is best, you might surprisingly go close to filling it through the night and it's discreet when taking to empty the next morning. Nalgene bottles are too small so you'll need more than one. Ladies should google/take a She Wee for their use.
