Compressed air tank In this video I show how to build a portable compressed air tank from a propane gas cylinder. I hope you like the video. I'm happy about comments, likes and subscribers. More videos in the next time.
I've seen a couple air tank builds but your take the cake pal. The build quality is fantastic. The idea to go the next step and build a block to hold the gauge, inlet and outlet was just great. I'm so impressed I'll go and make your additions to my air tank. Keep it up pal.
Great idea for Aires tank. I try to do one for me and for my small works in painting small things. When I can I restauring a kids cars and make a dioramas. For that this is perfect. Thanks for idea.
I had a house gas bottle and left the tap and base in place but added a proper bottle fitting and plugged it into my compressor for and extra tank by hose and fittings. Took 15 minutes
Bro, very good job, I take my hat for you. I loved all the details, and I even watched the all video without skipping many of the parts... it would make more sense for me that this was done during Coronavirus lockdown, where we all have time to spare ... LOL
Not many tools??? Well-built tank but dude got money... Drill press, big bore tap set, plasma cutter (air compressor for plasma cutter), MIG welder, angle grinder, table vise, hardened big bore drill bits, high end fire resistant welders overalls and gloves, and all to make a portable tank to top off the tires of his Mercedes... This isn't the average "lemme scrape around see what I have in the garage..." this is "hmmmm... I'm bored, what can I make in my shop today?" 😂🤘😎💵
Now that is impressive! Absolutely beautiful. You made your own distribution block!?! Awesome video. Love the color. Great job! Much respect from the US. Keep your videos coming
Excelente trabajo, felicitaciones muy profecional y pulcro, así deberían ser todos los videotutoriales de la plataforma. 👍🏾🇨🇴💪🏾Un saludo desde Bucaramanga, Colombia.
Nice job, but the only thing I noticed was that you ran your pipe taps in to deep. Since they are tapered, the farther you go, the bigger the thread diameter gets and you don`t get a tight seal because most fittings will screw all the way in and not "jam" up like a taper pipe is supposed to do. Still a real good job though.
thats a lot of work but in looks great. i just bought a refillhose(?) that has no pressure reducer, cut it in half and put a air connector on to it. cost me 20 bugs for two tanks and i can convert them with only a wrench.
I made mine from an old freon tank I just added a manifold to the valve that was on the tank which also let fill the tank and shut It off so it didn't leak
This must be outside the U.S. because the kits to make an air tank from a propane cylinder are readily available. This person must have some great plans. I don’t see all the trouble he’s going to do.
could have used a bit more information on the top bung what was used and how it was formed somehow I missed that part being fabricated and attached otherwise nice video
Nice, more than what I'd do. Viewers, do not tighten pressure gauge by grasping the round housing. You will bung the thin sht mtl. There are flats for a wrench.
Just wondering how you learnt all these things? Was it an project you did for college or a college course? It seems very well don't and you have a big selection of tools
I think that dude is kind of a Metallbauer. This means he learnt the stuff as part of his Internship (3 years). In Germany we call that "Ausbildung". This is just my guess, because of the way he does handle all that stuff. ;D
