You can build a dryer or for the same amount of dollarbucks buy this dryer. It works well. part of the building a shipping container garage series / eldestbuilds The Facebook page is up and running.
Great install video, I should have bought this unit months ago when I had a 10% off coupon…DUH!!! I wanted to use it for spraying a DeVilbiss ProLite gun, hopefully it will help along with a desiccant filter. Nice compressor and bikes there!!! Not that it would helped, but could you have wired from the cooler back to the switch with the lights powered, then shut-down the power and make the final connection at the switch side last, with the power off? I’m a new subscriber…and will try to keep future “Mr Obvious” comments to my self. Thanks again for the video and views of a great shop!
I think I see what you're saying, Start at the cooler then wire switch. I still get the same amount of liquid out of the filters and water separators before the dryer. The end air is perfect. I used a desiccant filter, regular size from Lowe's, it was just another water bowl. Thanks for watching
@@dlewis4647 Yes, I should have bought it long ago. Easy trick, if you don't need to run the bypass for regular air, just turn the unit off, BAM, regular air.
Here is my maybe scientific, shop world, answer. I took a shoebox, stuck a thermometer in it and cut a hole for air to escape and places the box in the sun. Ambient temperature 60°F Temperature in box 70°F Shop compressor full, blew air till compressor kicked on +/- 3 minutes Plain air 60°F Dried air 60°F I'll put some pics on the community tab
did you run the condensate line to a floor drain? Or is there much condensate coming out at all? I don't have a floor drain so I'm concerned about how much is produced.
The unit come with it's own drain line from a float bowl catch. It doesn't auto drain but when I turn off the air, the lines decompress and when I turn it back on the water shoots out of the machine, so it is drained about once a week.
@@ELDESTBuilds I really appreciate you replying. I need to get one. I know it depends a lot on how humid your air is and how often you use it. But do you run the compressor all day and do you get a couple of ounces daily or weekly?
I'm using the compressor all day. I've got 80 gallons of air. I get a couple ounces a week in the machine. I have two water separators before the machine. The first one fills a few ounces a day.
@@ELDESTBuilds just got mine, was wondering if yours came with fluid inside temperature gauge? Their customer service wasn't able to answer question about it.
