Most of the teachers don't know to teach, first you need to show your mind the full picture then dive to the parts, the mind process in such way 1000x faster include grasping and learning, why? Our inner computer, not the consciousness , but deeper think visuali and think through eye bird view

you skip volatile and non volatile. = Volatile Memory is used to store computer programs and data that CPU needs in real time and is erased once computer is switched off. RAM and Cache memory are volatile memory. Where as Non-volatile memory is static and remains in the computer even if computer is switched off. ROM and HDD are non-volatile memory.

you may already know that there are many important parts inside a computer but what exactly do they do let's take a look inside and learn about the various components that make a computer work whether it's a desktop computer or a laptop every computer has a large circuit board called a motherboard this contains some of the most important parts of the computer such as the cpu also known as the central processing unit or processor the cpu can be considered the brain of the computer because it processes information and carries out commands since it tends to get hot it's covered by a piece of metal called a heat sink which draws heat away from the processor the motherboard also contains the computer's ram or random access memory this is the short term memory that the computer uses whenever it's performing calculations however you cannot store your files there because the ram is cleared when you shut off the computer the hard drive provides long term storage keeping all of the computers data even when it's turned off many hard drives use a magnetic platter to store data but many newer computers have solid state drives which are faster and more durable but also more expensive on many desktop computers the motherboard has expansion slots that allow you to upgrade by adding expansion cards you can add a video card to get better graphics performance or you can add a wireless card to connect to your wireless home network most laptops however don't have expansion slots of course the computer's components need electricity to run the power supply unit is designed to take power from the wall outlet and send it to all of the different components that need power laptops also contain a built-in battery that lets you use them anywhere a computer is a pretty complex machine but now that you've seen what goes on inside it should be a little less mysterious gcf global creating opportunities for a better life

You know how ya all wanna advance computing. I got an idea. So, perhaps modeling computer memory based on how organisms, err, "perform" memory.. Not a new idea i know. But the following way of doing so might be - as it is based on a theory of memory (of homosapien sapiens at least), which im pretty sure is new. I call it "structural neuronal retention theory". It is as follows. The sense organs of the body, input electrical signals into the brain. Those electrical signals arrive at neurons associated with the nature of the input - neurons associated with sight for inputs from the eyes, and so on. Within each of those neurons is at least one group of cells; which i'll call, for now, "the memory cell structure". These cells - for some as yet unknown [to myself] reason -, are all interconnected; to such a degree that a change in state of one of the cells in any place, of the group, causes a change in the positions of one or more cells in the group, and thus a change in the structure of the group; or i guess you could say, a change in the structure of the structure. Each structure of cells is associated with a particular input, or set of inputs - hence single neurons can store multiple memories, but they'd do so as one memory. Each input, or rather, each electrical signal, is just a pattern of motion/vibration/frequency; the nature of the cells - in the memory cell structure -, must allow them to respond in different ways depending on the particular pattern they encounter. Thus we can make synthetic equivalents of these cells, and shove them in a computer; so long as - due to the correct combination of logic gates - the electrical signals the computer-memory cell structure recieves, is always of a pattern which will alter the structure in the desired way according to the input-so it thus stores the input. Some "general"/base pattern - in the electrical signal - passing through is, may hopefully lead to it reacting to the structure and returning differently, so as to send what was stored - in the whole structure or part, and so, the whole memory or part.
