@@Nanguburofa Considering that many of these these propaganda films are claiming he worked in the fields along with his people, and ate like they did, and slept like they did, it is a valid critisism to point out that he absolutely never did. One of Kim Jong-il's closest friends - and to this day a close friend of the Kim family - estimated that he spent about 300 days of the year on vacation together with Kim Jong-il to his various palaces by the sea and in the country side, spending their days jet skiing, horse riding and relaxing in the pools, and Kim Jong-il's father was just as much of a holiday person, preferring to let the officials in Pyongyang handle business while he was at his lakeside mountain palace.
@@michaelcaplin8969 i cannot deny that he spent all of those days on vacation, but the point is that he did something for his country and in the common interest of the DPRK people! Moreover, being a leader does not mean that you cannot have a vacation!
@@andy99ish It's not completely accurate. South Korea overcame North Korea in the 1970's. Kim Il Sung was in power back then. The famine(s) happened from 1994 to 1998 (something like that), and it's due to decades of economic mismanagement and lack of reform from Kim Il Sung and because NK relied too much on the USSR who collapsed in 1991. Kim Il Sung just died at the beginning of the Famine, letting his son being blamed for all that happened next.
@@nedifar-haunts-you You deliver interesting facts. Yet in the central issue of who is to blame for the famines you convince me only halfway. Three years of being in power makes you at least co-responsible. Plus KJI was partly involved in running the country in his father's late years.
Marxist Leninist Yes, he was a great man! I miss you daddy Kim Il Sung! The greatest and the best of all time! North Korea is lucky as hell who had a fantastic leader like Kim Il Sung! He and his fat son Kim Jong Il is just the best leaders of the world!
Wow.... really? The guy who first invaded the south and who wanted to rule all of Korea? Would Korea be better off Communist, or entirely Capitalist? Both sides could have easily one the war, but that's not the case, is it😏
Kim is sung is the best and only in the world! I support his ideology and wish he knew there’s others outside of the country that support his communist regime! I actually went into a NK embassy in Russia and actually told them I supported there regime and god! And bowed. They gave a souvenir in return. God bless the eternal president Kim is sung! One day I will name one of my kids after Kim I’ll sung
LOL If I had his job I'd "work" all the time too! His job is awesome! Running a country with absolute power? Are you kidding me? That's a privilege! And he didn't do a very good job either.
The way this is narrated, you'd forget these two are father and son. "He was so sad to see his dad working so hard...he pledged to pull consecutive all-nighters to lighten the load on his dad's shoulders"
They (the two last Kim) expressed the will to do reforms like in China since the death of Kim Il Sung but it can't be a great success due to economic sanctions and isolation of the country (also caused by the regime).
There's a lot of job in North Korea. It fascinates me a lot there's no hospices or asylums in North Korea! Everywhere in America they have many sick people living on hospices and asylums! North Korean are lucky as hell to live on this paradise!
Sadly my country the 'United States' is a capitalist hell. Where the lazy and stupid are rewarded and the workers are treated like garbage. I hope I can immigrate to North Korea someday.
Frank Garrett Why would you care about if the white house allows it? If you want to deffect there just fly to china and cross the border or go to the embassy of the DPRK. But you would never do that, you just write about how bad the USA is and that you want to go to NK but really going there, oh hell no.
Ironmaidenportugal yes the do have holidays, like the founding day of the dprk, kim il sungs birthday, kim il sungs mothers birthday, founding of the army and so on
croissantmania Yep, and notice they'll never actually play the audio, lest the people realize that their leaders aren't saying anything all that brilliant 😉
@@abcd123906 this has no sense. All discourses And speechs of the great lesders where always posted by the party. And its compilated in the Kim Il Sung Works or Kim Jong Il works book.
@@Myndir You are a bastard stating bullshit based solely on your ignorance. The great leaders gave very important lessons in the advancement of the revolution and the construction of the ideological-military power, correction of any problems that would arise within the people, and especially in the party, besides the architectural and cultural aspects. Go read before you talk bullshit.
Because we in the West are told truths, aren't we? We are just little cogs in a corrupt system, we have no voice, we are at the mercy of a god called money. So, if you think you are free, you are deluded.
