Harry, just wanted you to know I worked as an Air Attack Officer in the NWT for many years with your father. He was one of the finest men and most capable pilots I have ever met. A great sense of humour and always putting beer on the company card. It’s sad to think now that he had left us so early. I remember getting the news. We were all devastated. This is a wonderful tribute to him. Best regards. Fearless Frederick Lepine, (Ret) Bird dog 117, Hay River, NWT.
nice fleet off aircraft .unfortunately gone by the way off the dodo bird in favor off a crop sprayer . forestry couldn't put out weiner roast in there own back yard. GET THE REAL AIRCRAFT BACK IN THE AIR.
Not really a forestry decision. These aircraft are getting more difficult and expensive to maintain and the fuel they require 100/130 is getting harder to find. Companies have gone all turbine because jet fuel is readily available almost everywhere.
