So much of 30 Rock were jokes based off of things that were happening around that time, or Tina's experiences at SNL, and as much as the comedy holds up, I really wish there was a list somewhere with all the references. It was always fun to get the ref.

I KNEW it'd be the Tim Conway joke lol...and as a Conan fan, I appreciate Tina including a whole plotline with Subhas the janitor and "Khonani" fighting over the late night janitor shift, mirroring the Tonight Show debacle. Khonani: "Subhas will want to leave, spend time on his hobbies. He collects classic car-(COUGH)-dboard. Classic cardboard."

The 30 Rock episode, "Apollo, Apollo" is my absolute favorite episode of ANY show. If I have a bad day that episode will always cheer me up. 30 Rock was the best.

It’s interesting that she has a sort of Swedishsounding sirname - brun means brown and son means son, so it means brown son. We don’t have sirnames like that, the most common ones are Andersson, Svensson, Larsson, Eriksson, Jansson, and so on. As you can see we have to ss because it’s the possessive form Eriks son, like Erik’s son. But it sort of works anyway Brown son (son beeing brown since it’s not to ss). ❤❤❤🇸🇪

Thanks for sharing! Qunita should have Conan on an episode of Abbott Elementary. He should play a former student that has to come back to makeup some high school credit he is missing. He is a Harvard grad but somehow realizes that his degree is not legitimate because he didn’t technically graduate from high school. Now he must make up the missing credit to legitimize his college degree before they take it all away. There should be a scene(s) where (just as examples) he is playing up his celebrity ie having some high school students wheel him around campus because he is too good to actually walk down the hall, students are fanning him and feeding him grapes, etc. He pushes a kid out of a desk because he needs a place to sit while another student is quickly trying to write down Conan’s Starbucks order in the middle of class. A lot of the staff have lined up outside the teacher’s lounge in hopes to get an autograph from Conan making it hard for Quinta’s character to get in the teacher’s lounge to get her lunch so she begrudgingly must wait in line. I know no one will ever read this but if this actually ever happens…please let me write at least a portion of it. It would be a dream to be a writer for a tv show. I hope the comedy gods are reading this!😊

@@GZP1023 Okay. How much does the U.S. spend on the prison population every year? How much does it spend on Obama care every year? How much does it spend on social programs each year? All of that would effectively be eliminated if every kid grew up in a two parent home or at the very least in which both parents were very active in their lives. Right now the following % of kids grow up in single parent homes: black kids - 65% Hispanic kids - 55% white kids - 45% Asian kids - 25% I have lived that reality in more than one way so I know how true it is unfortunately.

@@plwadodveeefdv I disagree. The proof for what they are now calling climate change is pretty limited. Most scientists only give info for the last 100 years. The reason is that the Little Ice Age ended in the later part of the 1800’s and that is when temps started rising. And in the 70’s, they said Global Cooling was happening.
