the archer post is just a fancy way of setting your thrall to stand and defend only.. currently if you set your archers behaviour to stand and defend and attack distance to 50 meter they will basically just stand there and shot arrows.. which is exactly what the archer post does.. also they put a fancy quiver on the wall which doesn't do anything at all, if you want them to use the noxious gas arrows you still need to put them on their inventory..🙃 never ever go into their camp while the purge is on going cause they have the stygian soldier inside which hit like a truck and has insane armor value.. and you almost lost your bearer even in a level 1 purge... and yes you can learn the stygian armor, the stygian ration and the fire siege Cauldron.. your current purge base design won't be able to survive the later purge especially 9 and 10.. starting at level 8 you will find the stygian soldier coming in waves.. and also put down a bed roll
Great info man! thank you for the advices! I think the devs should rethink the archers a bit. As they stand, they are not very viable. We need a lot of them to make a difference imho! 😁✌
Hey Smokuz! yeah it's my go to spot for the permanent base! I realy like the redwoods mainly if I want to build a tree base but it's a bit dark even during the day! 😁✌
