Außerdem erzählt Gray, warum Breakup-Songs für ihn zwar als Liebeslieder zählen, er aber trotzdem gerne die Balance zwischen positiven und düsteren Stücken hält: „Manchmal braucht man Songs, die sagen: ‚Ich liebe dich.‘ Kein ‚Aber‘. Einfach nur: ‚Ich liebe dich.‘“
