@@freemason4979 _Lisa Kudrow and Conan O'Brien dated briefly in the late 1980s, around 1988. They met while both were involved in the improv comedy scene in Los Angeles. Their relationship was short-lived, but they remained good friends afterwards._
I hate that ppl try to make their relationship into like “oh they used to date” well they were two young attractive improv actors in the groundlings together and were very close its actually super cool to hear that theyre STILL friends even if there was history there conan makes plenty mention of lisa’s husband and its sweet theyre life long friends who saw each other succeed LOVE YOU Conesy Wonesy
@@ticoangelo To deny the historical fascination that mankind has with celebrities dating each other is ridiculous. There are decade long running shows, magazines, etc. that have thrived on such gossip.
You can tell, if one of these two ever went broke, they wouldn't let the other crash in the pool house. It would be a 'come on in and live in the house' sort of friendship! ❤
Going from one of the most hated guests to one of the most loved... Always a delight to see Lisa back. A shame Time Bandits looks so bad, but not Lisa's fault. Her struggling to find the character honestly does come across but that feels like a writing / Taika problem
Geez! I was confused until I read the last reply. Not everyone knows Corden was the last guest. Even if I did, the grammar is not good for what you intended to say. Actually you wouldn't even have to change what you wrote if you had just added their names in brackets to signify who you were referring to.
Lisa Kudrow seems like the kind of friend everyone wants. The moral dilemma of keeping a blood pressure monitor is hilarious. I would have loved to watch them in the groundlings together.
That animated Housebroken series she does is pretty good. I’m on the episode where her owner is on psychedelics and can temporarily understand all the pets.
It's an absolute travesty that Dr. Arroyo who graduated from doctor school didn't administer the BP test for Conan. Was he seeing another patient at the nearby restaurant? 😅
@6:20 It actually looks like one of those tape walkmans from the 90s when they were phasing them out for CD's but the cheap grumpy old people were like "cassette tape is good enough, I don't need that fancy stuff". I hope you're okay Conan, I think all of our pressure has been chaotic these past few. . . lifetimes.
There's no way that monitor is going to give an accurate idea of blood pressure. You have to do so many things to take a blood pressure reading correctly.
@@patiencekillzYup. Both have talked about it on Stern in separate interviews. IIRC, Stern pressed her about who ended it and while she wouldn’t say, she alluded that it was his decision and that she was gutted about it. And while we’ll probably never know what went on between them, I suspect his decision was career-related. They clearly adore and respect each other. Speaks volumes about his character that he still considers her one of his best friends. Few exes can do that.
@@rhondawhittaker456 I think it was in the "career retrospective" episode he did with his longtime producer Jeff Ross that he talked about dating Lisa. If I recall, they dated while he was working on The Simpsons, and she was part of the reason he decided to get into performing.
Lisa and Conan should collaborate on a medical experiment to measure which podcast guests raise and/or lower Conan’s blood pressure the most. I wonder how much Jordan Schlansky it would take to induce a fatal stroke.
Well, I had high blood pressure for about 9 months then I started feeling tired. Doctor had me do an angiogram. A quadruple bypass four months ago and now I'm on the mend. So Conan, please follow up with your doctor.
