And to think that Conan is also the spiritual archetype of Robert himself! What an exciting introduction, readaptation and graphic novelization of the epic chronicles of hyperborea! Legendary Prologue, I already want to see the entire epic! Thank you very much for literally bringing the complete chronology of the original!!! Thank you so much!!
Love the background work and the voice narration. You have developed a taste of choosing not only solid titles but long runs too. That Agent Graves voice over was top notch. Through your channel I've filled the blanks for that series. Good work.
No, in a letter to a friend, he wrote that it felt like Conan was a presence there, allowing him to tell these stories. Filling him with the drive to write.
Yess Very relatable, even i had to leave those who i loved and great memories with but i have to find my own purpose in life somewhere you belong and happy
Great job with these videos and entertaining narration. Really enjoyed it. One of these days I will launch my channel to talk about Conan as well. Thank you.
I just have to say that I’m still salty that your videos on Invincible were taken down. I get it now though, I’d rather watch your videos than I would the show that is out now. Happy that you still making great content.
I really like this story, God bless you Danny, but I have to admit, i am so sad that Arielle died. It seemed that Conan and Arielle could have had an excellent LOVE story.
Okay I said in-test-tine-s instead of In-test-in-s fair enough, but very minor. That is a weird pronunciation counter to how other words like “times” or “lines” or “limes” are pronounced. It kind of doesn’t make sense to pronounce it the other way, but I do concede for some reason it is “in-s”. Oftentimes I pronounce things phonetically and for some special words you are supposed to ignore phonetics and follow a random rule, and you would have no idea. If you listen to audiobooks or any long form audio thing, there are tons of little intricacies in how things are pronounced differently by everyone. There are so many things everyone pronounces wrong without even realizing it. It’s not tell you have 50K people watching/listening to you pointing out every minor error do you realize it. So my point is, give me a break on some things.
@@dannymalt fair points. I've always wondered why you pronounce escape "Eescape". But in fairness you speak better than most RU-vidrs. Thanks for replying. You're a brave dude
Been here for a long time now. Thanks for showing not only me but everyone of the other subs these stories. In a way, youre like the grandfather telling us all tall tales we cant get enough of. Thank you.
Conan the Barbarian is all underrated. I’ve always figured Conan being at least 5 times stronger than Tarzan and should’ve been the Sumerian version of Hercules. An unstoppable Sumerian demigod, in his own right. Only unknowing to his limits, to which he’d learn from.
There's already a Sumerian demigod equivalent to Hercules....Gilgamesh. Heroes like Hercules and especially Samson are influenced by Gilgamesh and his story.
I'm usually listening in because I'm outside doing yard work, but we're getting some good Spring storm action, so this is the first into I've actually watched in months. Danny, you looking good my boy! I didn't know You've been working out but we can definitely see it. Congrats on the gains 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
The release date for "Fables: The Deluxe Edition Book Sixteen" is May 21, 2024: (The return of the acclaimed blockbuster that defined an era of Vertigo is now collected in this deluxe edition. “The Black Forest” picks up right where Fables #150 left off-and everything is far from happily ever after. A legendary new adversary has arrived to inflict retribution on the Fables living safely within the Black Forest. Collects Fables #151-162.) I bring this to your attention because you promised to return to your Fables Story Explained series when the final volume of the deluxe edition is released. Please when you get some downtime, continue to complete that series you've started.
I never promised that. I said I might return to it one day, but I never made a full on commitment to it beyond the first half of the series. I do want to cover more, because I like fables, but it would be like another 12-13 videos and 3-4 months of work, so it’s not something I can just do lightly.
Danny, if you think it's awesome then it's gotta be awesome. Sorry to be annoying but you think you're gonna ever get back to Die? Or the story with the alien and the house on the island??
I didn’t like Die as it went on as much, so maybe not Die. The Nice House On The Lake, I think I will return to. The thing with that one is that volume 2 just ends on a cliffhanger, and now the series has been on hiatus for a year or two, so who knows if it will ever get completed.
I have a lot of the Dark Horse Conan volumes, but I sincerely enjoy your narration. I would love it if you decided to do them all. Thank you, for all your hard work. I really enjoy your channel.
Shockingly I have never read a Spawn comic in my life. I worry about covering Spawn, just cause I am not knowledgeable on Spawn at all, and there is so much of it, I don't think I could do it justice unless I read a lot of it. So I will not be doing Spawn next. But I am not writing it off forever.
@@dannymalt in my opinion Spawn is very decompressed and boring, but the idea itself is just great and i am sure there are some good stories, just not the ones McFarlane wrote..
