Seems weird to associate Suika with a Lovecraftian horror like a Hound of Tindalos.

Seems Suika decide to take a page out of Yuugi's book by being the mid-boss and boss of a stage ^_^ Also I love how she seems to be moving to her own little rhythm during her non-spellcard attacks lol what a drunk :3

For the record: Hound of Tindalos is from Lovecraft. It's beings that chase down those who meddle with time.

Illusion Dog "Hound of Tindalos" is a reference to H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. Hounds of Tindalos are mythical monsters from that series of stories.

@raak1010 Orin is particularly bad, as she's the mid boss of every stage in the second half of the game, not just her own.

Suika's first three nonspells can make up a rap beat. I did indeed pursue that idea while playing personally.

Suika's last spell sure give an impression of being caged. How nice.

@raak1010 Say, if you haven't read it already, I'd recommend reading the original Battte Royale manga. It's like, 42 times as sad as that doujin. I'm pretty sure the creator made it to see how many manly tears he could make people shed.

XD) Minotaur's labyrinth reminds me of (read: Is identical to) an attack belonging to a boss by the name of Sakra Devanum Human Type... At least in concept. The actual execution is far more intense. Course, this almost certainly predates that. Final attack reminds me of Yukari's border of Life and Death, what with the constant adding of new bullet types.
