Something that I was taught in class is that you _can_ be subordinate without losing sovereignty. Think about a football game: you are a free person but you've chosen to enter into and abide by the rules of the game, which include a judge, the referee, who can decide and punish rule breaking. Does this mean you're no longer a free person? No, you can decide to leave at any point. This is the crucial difference between the UK and the EU and Scotland and the UK: the UK didn't need to ask the EU's permission to leave, whereas Scotland requires the acquiescence of Westminster to dissolve the Articles of Union and all surrounding laws.

Well I guess you’d first have to specify between a Queen Regnant who is equal in rank to a King ruling in her own right and a Queen Regent which is what you seem to be describing. Rules on the powers a Queen Regnant can access whilst married or not I believe vary from each state with Monarchical Sovereignty - so the answer to how it affects her sovereignty would be different
