hi sir, I have a doubt... file no is tip size in 1/10mm... so if the file no is 15mm then tip size must be 1.5 nah sir.. how can it be.. 0.15 when the tip size is 1/10mm
No as per the standardisation of Endodontic instruments -- Each number shall be representative of the diameter of the instrument in hundredths of a millimeter at the tip which means that if the file no. is 15, it's 15 divided by the 100 which becomes 0.15 mm.
