Weeks ago I was racially abused and called a racist by an Indian neighbour, who we'd all welcomed when they moved here. I was shocked and, because of other antisocial behaviour to others, we reported them to the Police. They didn't want to know, but I'm sure if it had been me commenting on the colour of their skin as they did my white skin, I would be up on a charge by now.

I'm born in the UK but spent a long time in the Aussie military. I moved back home half a decade ago because even from afar I could see this country being taken over. I'm not back for a holiday. Preface: I grew up in Ireland, and my family suffered under the British ESTABLISHMENT - But, true Britain is not the ESTABLISHMENT nor the elite. Some of my dearest friends are British. Off the bat, I would say that British people value democracy and the democratic rule of law. The average British person has a keen sense of justice and of ' right versus wrong' due to their Christian theology and the period of history known as 'The Enlightenment' - which favours individual rights over the collective of many other religious beliefs. British people have a legacy of Arts and Literatures to which I cannot find a comparison ( except, Ireland - we do it better lol) British people have thousands of years of history Much of which is based on a strong identity of human rights and freedom of expression. I could go on but, you are indigenous to the land of Britain 🇬🇧 and diversity can exist IF those who arrive can live and function in such a democratic environment. I think most of N. Europe is now being told we dont have an identity or culture. Which is laughable. In any case, hold firm to your history - which has given so much to the world.

I saw the Met police dragging peaceful, quiet 'protesters away in handcuffs regardless of age. I saw Met police commit brutal thuggery on people, randomly dragged out of the group, handcuffed, 5 blows to the head and a midget police officer was tall enough to land a knee in the face too. This has all been captured on film. I will never forget it or give any trust to the police as I once unquestionably did.
