I didn't realize you can do that! I keep trying to press the air button quickly between notes, and it has been difficult and sounds odd. Thank you.

Hey! For us basic dudes, what happens inside the concertina when you press the air button and what does it do?

When you use the air button, it lifts up the pad without a reed allowing just air to pass through (which is why there is no sounds). Allows you do bring air in/out of the concertina without making a note.

My concertina must be cheap because when I push the air button, the sound is lost.
