i've loved the original since i was 11..now in my late 60's i have never thought of any impersonator coming close enough for me to enjoy!..until i saw this exact performance in Sydney Australia..this guy is there closest in looks & voice i will see in my lifetime i am sure!

There are some songs that Ben totally nails most notably those Elvis recorded in a higher register. If he could trim the setlist to those he really would be the best.
People come to see Ben,to be in his presence . The music i think is secondary. But his voice is so fine,so rich and his baritone is especially effective on balads such as "My Way" or the stirring gospel song "How Great Thou Art" !!!
I've met him here in the UK before, he really is unbelievable. Going again this September but from his tour dates it looks like he's playing the States during summer - Vegas & the rest. If you ever get chance to see him, please do! He is fantastic.

I'm not a huge fan of him doing the 50's and 60's stuff but for the 70's stuff he just might the best of them all! I never thought I'd see anyone that had it as close as Shawn Klush does but idk Ben Portsmouth might have him beat. He sounds a little more like Elvis's singing voice and that version of Unchained Melody he did was spot on.

Superb look, image production but the microphone is terribly 'tinny' & he has an annoying habit of all his 's' sounds being pronounced 'ssh' like....spoils the performance totally. No timbre in the voice, which Elvis had spades of.
