Namaskaram! I am Puvvada Indira Devi. I want to share a few vignettes I have heard about Puvvada Sri Ramadasu Garu! He used to be immersed in composing, singing and dancing to the scintillating Muvva Venugopalaswamy Keerthanas. My mother-in-law used to say that he would see Muvva Venu Gopala in his vision before he retired for the day.
It was divine coincidence that my wedding was conducted in Venugopalaswamy Temple in Machilipatnam and my second son is named Venugopal.
My first son Vittal has mastered aspects of Consciousness and my first daughter-in-law Ratna is well versed in music and Arts. My second son Venugopal and my second daughter-in-law Meera have a soft corner for Carnatic Music and Bharatanatyam and have encouraged Fine Arts over the years. My daughter Sridevi is also an avid follower of Music and Dance.
It is heart-warming to see all of them join hands to bring these ten beautiful Keerthanas into an audio-visual treat!
Dancer Choreographer Guru Geeta Sirisha has imbued a scintillating form to these mellifluous songs! Our sincere gratitude to her for accepting and driving this entire project joyfully!
