Concorde! G-BOAA, BA 002, JFK-LHR, August 5th, 2000 

My once in a lifetime ride on Concorde. 11 days after the crash of AF 4590, and ten days before BA joined AF in grounding for 16 months while the fuel tanks were retrofitted with kevlar. Sadly, this would be the second to last time Alpha Alpha would make the return, she operated the next week as BA 001 LHR-JFK on 11 August, and again as BA 002 on 12 August 2000. She would never fly again.
