I have finally got around to uploading this video shot on a grey day on 31st October 2003. Assuming my camera's time was correct, G-BOAC took off at 14:57. This is the last ever take-off of this Concorde as she was flying to Manchester.
Wondering why the end is so bad? I was accompanied by my four year old nephew. The traffic was busy behind us as ever, and so I told him to stand still. As Concorde took off I saw that he was so fascinated he had started to wander towards the kerb to get a better view!
The cloud base was low, so Concorde very quickly went into cloud.

You know there's not a great deal of information regarding G-BOAC's last flight... did she just fly straight to Manchester or did she fly across the Atlantic for so long just to go Supersonic once more before landing at Manchester?

She flew subsonic straight to Manchester. It was a dull day I remember that. There were very few on the Northern Perimeter road to see her off.
