The latch handle separated on the Concours 14 right-hand bag, I figured I'd film my fix for it but it got complicated quickly. It's fixed, but now without some drama. Watch and see! Thanks for watching.
I got rather angry at it off camera a couple times, truth be told. Walk away and come back to it. Formulate a plan and execute. Remember, don't just repair... restore! I restored it to proper operation... Maybe. lol.. cheers.
The luggage is made by Givi, so I’ve been told. I’ve not had any problems with my panniers, it’s a 2010 model. BUT the topbox 😭 it’s absolute cr*p. The top flexes so much that if you hit a bump in the road the top flips open. I lost hundreds of £’s worth of kit on a trip through France. I thought it was operator error at first but it’s just cr*p. Thanks for the videos 👍
Quite possible although I had not heard that before. Other marques have used Givi like Suzuki in fact on their Bandit 1250 luggage and probably others. I have one of the larger (at the time I bought it) Givi top cases, it is rigid as heck, no flexing whatsoever. In fact it'd be impossible to distort the plastic to cause the latch to disrupt, not without crushing it maybe with a skid steer or something. Cheers.
